¹⁵ So they toke Ionas, & cast hym in to the sea, & the sea left ragyng.

²⁴ And Iosua toke Acan the sonne of Zareh, and the syluer, and the garment, and the tonge of golde, and hys sonnes and hys doughters, hys oxen, asses, shepe, hys tente and all that he had, and all Israell wyth him, & brought them vnto the valeye of Acor. ²⁵ And Iosua sayde: In as muche as thou hast troubled vs, the Lorde shal trouble the thys daye. And all Israell stoned hym wyth stones, and burnt them wyth fyre, and ouerwhelmed them wyth stones. ²⁶ And they caste vpon hym a great heape of stones that remaineth vnto thys daye. And so the Lorde turned from hys fearce wrath. Wherfore the name of the place is called the valeye of Acor vnto thys daye.

⁸ But he toke the two sonnes of Rezphah the doughter of Aiah whiche she bare vnto Saul, Armoni and Myphiboseth, and the fyue sonnes of Michol the doughter of Saul which she bare to Adriel the sonne of Berselai the Molathite, ⁹ and delyuered them vnto the handes of the Gabeonites, whiche hanged them in the hill before the Lorde. And they fell all seuen together in the fyrst dayes of heruest, euen in the begynning of Barley heruest.

⁷ Which stilleth the ragynge of the sea, the roarynge of his waues, and the woodnes of the people.

⁹ Thou rulest the pryde of the sea, thou stillest the waues therof, when they aryse.

³ The floudes aryse (O Lorde) the floudes lyft vp their noyse, the floudes lyfte vp theyr waues. ⁴ The waues of the sea are mightye, & rage horribly: but yet the Lorde that dwelled on hye, is mightier.

²⁹ He maketh the storme to ceasse, so that the waues are styll.

²⁶ And he sayed vnto them: why are ye fearfull, O ye of lytle fayth? Then he arose, and rebuked the wyndes and the sea, and there folowed a great calme.

²⁴ And they went to him and awoke him saiyng: Maister Maister we are loste. Then he rose & rebuked the winde & the tempeste of the water, & they ceased, & it wexed calme.
