³² and shal know the truth, and the truthe shall make you free.

⁵ Lede me in thy trueth and learne me, for thou art the God of my healthe, and in the is my hope al the day long.

⁸ O how frendly & rightuous is the Lord, therfore will he teach synners in the way. ⁹ He ledeth the symple a right, & suche as be meke them lerneth he his wayes.

⁴⁵ And I wyll walcke at lybertye, for I seke thy commaundementes.

²³ O turne you vnto my correccion: lo. I wil expres my mynde vnto you, & make you vnderstande my wordes.

²⁹ And that because thei hated knowlege, & receyued not the feare of the Lord,

¹ My sonne, if thou wilt receyue my wordes, & kepe my commaundementes by the, ² that thyne eare may herken vnto wisdome, applie thyne hert then to vnderstanding. ³ For if thou cryest after wysdome, & callest for knowledge: ⁴ if thou sekest after her as after money, & dyggest for her as for treasure: ⁵ then shalt thou vnderstande the feare of the Lord, & fynde the knowlege of God. ⁶ For it is the Lord that geueth wysdome, out of hys mouth commeth knowlege & vnderstandyng. ⁷ He preserueth the welfare of the righteous, & defendeth them that walke innocently:

¹⁸ The path of the ryghtuous shyneth as the lyghte, and is euer brighter and brighter vnto the perfecte daye.

⁷ Tell me (O thou whom my soule loueth) where thou fedest, where thou restest at the noone daye: lest I go wrong, and come vnto the flockes of thy companyons. ⁸ If thou knowe not thy selfe (O thou fayrest among women) then go thy waye forthe after the fotesteppes of the shepe, as though thou woldest fede thy goates beside the shepeherdes tentes.

³ speakynge thus one to another: vp let vs go to the hyll of the Lorde, & to the house of the God of Iacob: that he maye shewe vs hys waye, and that we maye walcke in hys pathes. For the lawe shall come out of Syon and the worde of God from Ierusalem,

²¹ and thyne eares harken to his worde, that cryeth after the, and sayeth: thys is the waye, go thys, and turne neyther to the right hande nor to the lefte.

⁸ There shalbe fote pathes and comen stretes, this shalbe called the holy waye. No vncleane person shall go thorow it, for the Lorde hym selfe shall go with them that waye, and the ignoraunt shall not erre,

¹³ Thy children shall all be taught of god & I wyll geue them plenteousnes of peace.

¹ The spirite of the Lorde God is with me, for the Lorde hath annointed me, & sent me, to preache good tydinges vnto the poore, that I myght binde vp the wounded hertes, that I myght preach delyueraunce to the captyue, and open the preson to them that are bounde:

¹⁶ Thus sayth the Lorde: go into the streates considre and make inquisicion for the old way and yf it be the good and right waye, then go therein, that ye maye fynde rest for your soules. But they saye: we wyll not walcke therin

³³ But thys shall be the couenaunte that I wyll make with the house of Israel after those dayes, sayeth the Lorde: I wyll plante my lawe in the inwarde partes of them, & wryte it in theyr hertes, and wilbe theyr God, and they shalbe my people. ³⁴ And from thence forth shall no man teache his neyghboure or his brother, and say know the Lorde: But they shall all knowe me, from the loweste vnto the hyeste, sayeth the Lorde. For I wyll forgeue theyr mysdedes, and wil neuer remembre theyr sinnes any more.

³ Then shall we haue vnderstanding, and endeuoure oure selues to knowe the Lorde. He shall go forth as the springe of the daye, & come vnto vs as the eueninge and morninge rayne vpon the earth.

² But vnto you that feare my name, shall the Sonne of ryghteousnesse aryse, and healthe shalbe vnder his winges: ye shal go forth, & multipply as the fat calues.

²⁹ Take my yocke on you and learne of me, for I am meke and lowly in herte: and ye shall fynde reste vnto your soules.

¹¹ He aunswered and sayde vnto theym: it is geuen vnto you to know the secretes of the kyngdom of heauen, but to them it is not geuen ¹² For whosoeuer hath to hym shalbe geuen, and he shall haue aboundaunce. But whosoeuer hath not: from hym shalbe taken awaye euen that he hath.

⁴⁵ It is written in the prophetes: that they shalbe al taught of God. Euery man therfore thath hath heard and hath learned of the father commeth vnto me.

¹⁷ If any man wil do his wyll he shall knowe of the doctryne, whither it be of God, or whither I speake of my selfe.

³⁶ But the sonne abydeth euer. Yf the sonne therfore shal make you fre, then are ye free in dede.

⁶ Iesus sayd vnto hym: I am the waye, the truthe and the lyfe. And no man commeth to the father, but by me.

¹³ Howe be it when he is come (I meane the spirite of truth) he wyll lead you into all truth. He shall not speake of hym self, but whatsoeuer he shal heare, that shall he speake, and he wyll shewe you thynges to come.

¹⁷ Sanctifye them with the truthe, thy saiyng is truthe,

¹⁴ Let not synne haue power ouer you. For ye are not vnder the lawe, but vnder grace. ¹⁵ What then? Shall we synne, because we are not vnder the lawe: but vnder grace? God forbyd. ¹⁶ Remember ye not howe that to whomsoeuer ye commit your selues as seruauntes to obey, hys seruauntes ye are to whom ye obey: whether it be of synne vnto death, or of obedience vnto rightuousnes? ¹⁷ God be thanked that though ye were ones the seruauntes of synne ye haue yet obeyed with herte vnto the forme of doctrine wherunto ye were delyuered. ¹⁸ Ye are then made fre from sinne, & are become the seruauntes of rightuousnes.

²² But nowe are ye deliuered from synne, and made the seruauntes of God, and haue youre fruyte that ye shoulde be sanctified, & the ende euerlastynge lyfe.

² For the law of the spirite that bringeth lyfe through lyfe through Iesus Christe, hath delyuered me from the lawe of synne & death.

¹⁵ they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father.

¹⁷ The Lorde no doubte is a spiryte. And where the spiryte of the Lorde is, there is libertye. ¹⁸ But we all beholde the glorye of the Lorde with hys face open, and chaunged vnto the same similitude, from glorye to glory, euen of the spirite of the Lorde.

¹ Stande fast therfore in the lybertye wherewith Christ hath made vs free and wrappe not your selues againe in the yoke of bondage.

¹³ Brethren ye were called into lybertye onelye let not youre lybertye be an occasyon vnto the fleshe, but in loue serue one another.

²⁵ the euyll in meakenes, and can informe them that resiste: yf that God at any tyme wyll geue them repentaunce for to know the trueth, ²⁶ that they may come to them selues agayne out of the snare of the deuyll, whiche are nowe taken of hym at hys wyll.

⁷ euer learnynge, and neuer able to come vnto the knowledge of the trueth.

²⁵ But who so loketh in the perfecte lawe of lybertye, and contynueth therin (yf he be not a forgetfull hearer, but a doar of the worke) the same shall be happye in hys dede.

¹² So speake ye, and so do, as they that shalbe iudged by the lawe of lybertye.

¹⁶ as fre, and not as hauynge the lybertye for a cloke of maliciousnes, but euen as the seruauntes of God.
