¹⁹ The same day at night, which was the morowe after the saboth day, when the dores wer shut, wher the disciples were assembled together for fear of the Iewes, came Iesus and stode in the myddes, and saide to them: peace be wyth you.

¹⁰ And I came vnto the house of Semaiah the sonne of Delaiah the sonne of Mehetabeel, and he had shut hym selfe within, & sayde: let vs come together into the house of God, euen vnto the myddes of the temple, & shut the dores of the temple: for they wyll come to slaye the, yea euen in the nyght wil they come to put the to death. ¹¹ But I sayde: shulde any suche man as I flye? Who is that, beyng as I am, that wyll go into the temple, to saue hys lyfe? I wyll not go in.

⁸ I wyll herken what the Lorde God wyll saye for he shall speake peace vnto hys people and to hys saynctes, that they turne not them selues vnto folyshnes. ⁹ For hys saluacyon is nye them that feare hym so, that glory shall dwell in oure lande. ¹⁰ Mercy and trueth are met together, ryghtuousnesse and peace kysseth eche other.

¹⁸ But yf I may se his right way againe, I make hym whole, I lede him and restore him vnto them, whome he maketh ioyfull, and that were sorye for him. ¹⁹ I make the frutes of thankesgeuynge. I geue peace vnto them that are farre of, and to them that are nye. saye I the Lord, that make hym whole.

¹³ And if the house be worthy, your peace shall come vpon it. But if it be not worthy, your peace shall retourne to you againe.

²⁰ For where two or thre are gathered together in my name, there am I in the middes of them.

¹⁴ After that he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meat, and caste in theyr tethe theyr vnbelese and hardnes of hert: because they beleued not them which had sene hym after hys resurreccyon.

³⁶ As they thus spake. Iesus him selfe stode in the middes of them, and saide: Peace be with you. ³⁷ And thei were abashed and afraied, supposynge that they had sene a spirite. ³⁸ And he sayde vnto them: Why are ye troubled, and why do thoughtes aryse in your hertes? ³⁹ Beholde my handes and & my fete, that it is euen my selfe. Handle me & se: for spyrytes haue not flesh and bones as ye se me haue. ⁴⁰ And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his handes and his fete. ⁴¹ And while they yet beleued not for ioye, and wondred, he said vnto them: haue ye here anye meate? ⁴² And they gaue him a pece of broiled fyshe, and of an hony combe. ⁴³ And he toke it, and eate it before them. ⁴⁴ And he sayde vnto them: These are the wordes which I spake vnto you, whyle I was yet with you: that al muste be fulfilled which was written of me in lawe of Moyses and in the prophetes and in the Psalmes. ⁴⁵ Then opened he their wittes, that they myght vnderstande the scriptures, ⁴⁶ and sayde vnto them: Thus is it written, and thus it behoued Christ to suffer: and to ryse agayne from death the thirde day, ⁴⁷ and that repentaunce and remissyon of synnes shoulde be preached in his name amonge all nacions. And must begynne at Ierusalem. ⁴⁸ And ye are witnesses of these thinges. ⁴⁹ And beholde, I wyl sende the promes of my father vpon you. But tary ye in the citye of Ierusalem, vntyll ye be endewed with power from an hye.

¹³ How beit no man spake openlye of him, for feare of the Iewes.

¹⁹ Yet a lytel whyle and the worlde seeth me no more: but ye shal se me. For I lyue, and ye shall lyue. ²⁰ That daye shall ye knowe that I am in my father, and you in me, and I in you ²¹ He that hathe my commaundementes and kepeth them, the same is he that loueth me. And he that loueth me, shal be loued of my father: And I will loue hym, and will shewe myne owne selfe to him. ²² Iudas sayd vnto hym (not Iudas Iscarioth) Lord what is the cause that thou wilte shewe thy selfe vnto vs, & not vnto the worlde? ²³ Iesus aunswered and sayd vnto hym, yf a man loue me, and will kepe my saiynges, my father also will loue hym & we will come vnto hym, and will dwell to hym.

²⁷ Peace I leaue with you, my peace I geue vnto you. Not as the worlde geueth, geue I vnto you. Let not your hertes be greued, neyther feare ye.

²² And ye now are in sorow: but I wyll se you agayne, and youre hertes shall reioyce, and youre ioye shall no man take from you.

³³ These wordes haue I spoken vnto you, that in me you myght haue peace. For in the worlde shall you haue tribulacyon: but be of good cheare. I haue ouercome the worlde.

²¹ Then sayde Iesus to them agayne: peace be with you. As my father sente me euen so sende I you.

²⁶ And after .viij. dayes agayne, hys dyscyples were wythin, and Thomas wyth them. Then came Iesus when the dores were shut, and stode in the middes and sayd: peace be wyth you.

³³ The God of peace be with you. Amen.

⁵ and that he was sene of Cephas, then of the twelue.

¹⁴ For he is our peace, whiche had made of both one, and hath broken doune the wall that was a stop betwene vs,

²³ Peace be with the brethren, and loue with fayth from God the father, and from the Lorde Iesus Christe.

² Grace be wyth you and peace from God oure father, and from the Lorde Iesus Christe.

¹⁶ The verye Lorde of peace geue you peace alwayes, by all meanes. The Lorde be wyth you all.

² to whom also Abraham gaue tythes of all thynges) fyrste is by interpretacyon kynge of ryghtuousnes: after that he is kynge of Salem that is to saye, kynge of peace,
