²³ Then the souldyers, when they had crucyfyed. Iesus toke hys garmentes, and made foure partes, to euery souldyour a parte, and also hys cote. The cote was withoute seame, wroughte vpon thorow out.

²² And he made the tunycle vnto the Ephod of wouen worke, and al together of iacincte, ²³ & the heade of the tunicle was in the middest of it as the coller of a partlet, wyth a bonde rounde aboute the coller, that it shoulde not rent.

³⁵ When they had crucifyed hym: they parted his garmentes, and did cast lottes, to fulfyll that was spoken by the prophete. They deuided my garmentes amonge them, and vpon my vesture dyd cast lottes.
