¹¹ and of iudgement, because the chiefe ruler of this worlde is iudged already.

¹⁵ Moreouer, I wyll put hatred betwene the & the woman, & betwene thy seed and her seed. And that seed shall tread the on thy heed, and thou shalt treade it on the hele.

¹⁸ Thou art gone vp an hye, thou hast ledde captiuitie captiue, and receyued gyftes for men: Yea, euen for thyne enemyes, that they might dwell with the Lord God.

²⁴ Who spoyleth the gyaunte of hys praye? or who taketh the presoner from the mightye? ²⁵ And therefore thus sayeth the Lorde: The prysoners shalbe taken from the gyaunte, & the spoyle delyuered from the vyoleute: for I wil maintayne thy cause agaynste thyne aduersaryes, and saue thy sonnes. ²⁶ And wyl fede thyne enemyes with their owne fleshe, and make them dryncke of theyr owne bloude, as of swete wyne. And all fleshe shall knowe (O Iacob) that I am the Lorde thy Sauyoure & stronge auenger.

¹⁸ Beholde my chylde, whom I haue chosen my beloued, in whom my soule delyteth. I wyll put my sprryte on him, and he shall shew iudgement to the gentils.

³⁶ But I say vnto you, that of euery idell worde that men shall haue spoken: they shall geue a countes at the daye of iudgement.

¹⁸ And he sayde vnto them: I sawe Sathan, as it had bene lyghtenynge, fall doune from heauen.

²² Neyther iudgeth the father anye man: but hath committed all iudgement vnto the sonne, ²³ because that all men should honoure the sonne, euen as they honoured the father. He that honoureth not the sonne: the same honoureth not the father, which hath sent him. ²⁴ Verely, verely I say vnto you he that heareth my wordes, and beleueth on him that sent me, hath euerlasting lyfe, & shal not come into damnacion: but is escaped from death vnto lyfe. ²⁵ Verely verely, I saye vnto you: The tyme shall come, and nowe is, when the dead shall heare the voyce of the sonne of God. And they that heare shall lyue. ²⁶ For as the father hath lyfe in him selfe, so lykewyse hath he geuen to the sonne to haue lyfe in him selfe, ²⁷ and hath geuen him power also to iudge, in that he is the sonne of man.

³¹ Now is the iudgement of thys world: now shall the prince of thys worlde be caste oute.

³⁰ Here after will I not talke manye wordes vnto you. For the ruler of thys world cometh and hath noughte in me.

⁴² And he commaunded vs to preache vnto the people & testifye that it is he that is ordeined of God a iudge of quicke and deade.

³⁰ And the tyme of thys ignoraunce God regarded not. But now he byddeth all men euerye where repent, ³¹ because he hath appoynted a daye, in the whiche he will iudge the world accordynge to ryghteousnes, by that man whom he hath apoynted, and hath offered fayth to all men, after that he had raysed hym from death.

²⁵ And as he preached of rightuousnes, temperaunce and iudgement to come. Felix trembled and aunswered: thou haste done inough at this tyme, departe. When I haue a conueniente tyme, I wil send for the.

¹⁸ to open theyr eyes, that they myght turne from darckenes to lyght, and from the power of Satan vnto God: that they maye receiue forgeuenes of synnes, and inheritaunce amonge them whyche are sanctyfyed by fayth in me.

² But we are sure that the iudgement of God is accordynge to trueth agaynst them, which committe suche thinges. ³ Thinkest thou this (O thou man that iudgeste them, whiche do suche thinges) and yet dost euen the very same, that thou shalt escape the iudgement of God? ⁴ Eyther despysest thou the riches of hys goodnes, pacience and longe sufferaunce? and remembreste not howe that the kindnes of God leadeth the to repentaunce?

¹⁶ at the daye when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ accordynge to my Gospell.

¹⁰ But why doest thou then iudge thy brother? Other why doeste thou despyse thy brother? We shall all be brought before the iudgement seate of Christe. ¹¹ For it is wrytten: as truelye as I lyue sayth the Lorde: all knees shall bowe to me, and all tonges shall geue a knowledge to God. ¹² So shall euery one of vs, geue accomptes of hym selfe to GOD.

²⁰ The God of peace treade Sathan vnder your fete shortelye. The grace of oure Lorde Iesu Christe be with you.

⁵ Therfore iudge nothinge before the tyme vntill the Lorde come, who wyll lyghten thinges, that are hyd in darckenes, and open the counsels of the hertes. And then shall euery man haue praise of God.

³ know ye not how that we shal iudge the aungels? Howe much more maye we iudge thinges that pertayne to the lyfe? ⁴ Yf ye haue iudgementes of worldlye matters, take them whiche are despised in the congregacion, and make them iudges.

⁴ in whome the God of thys worlde hath blynded the myndes of them which beleue not, leste the lyght of the gloryous gospell of Christe which is the ymage of God shoulde shyne vnto them.

¹⁰ For we muste all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ, that euery man maye receyue the workes of hys bodye accordyng to that he hath done, whether it be good or badde? ¹¹ Seynge then that we know, how the Lorde is to be feared, we fare fayre with men. For we are knowen well ynoughe vnto God. I truste also that we are knowen in your consciences.

² in the whiche in time passed, yet walked accordynge to the course of thys worlde, & after the gouerner that ruleth in the ayer, the spyrite that nowe worketh in the chyldren of vnbelefe,

¹⁵ and hath spoiled rule and power and hath made a shewe of them openlye, and hath tryumphed ouer them in hys owne persone.

¹⁴ For as muche then as the children were partetakers of fleshe and bloude, he also him selfe lyke wyse toke part wyth them, for to put doune thorowe death, that is to saye the deuyll,

² of baptyme, of doctryne, and of layinge on of handes, and of resurreccion from death, and of eternal iudgemente.

²⁷ And as it is appoynted vnto men that they shall ones dye, and then commeth the iudgemente,

⁴ For yf God spared not the aungels that sinned but cast them downe into hell, and deliuered them into chayns of darckenes, to be kept vnto iudgement, ⁵ neyther spared the olde worlde, but saued Noe the ryght preacher of rightuousnes, and brought in the floud vpon the worlde of the vngodly, ⁶ and turned the cyties of Sodom and Gomor into ashes, ouerthrowe them, dampned them, and made on them an ensample vnto all that after shoulde lyue vngodly. ⁷ And iust Lot vexed with the vnclenly conuersacyon of the wicked, deliuered he. ⁸ For he beinge rightuouse and dwellinge amonge them, in seinge and hearinge, vexed his rightuouse soule from daye to daye wyth theyr vnlawfull dedes. ⁹ The Lorde knoweth howe to deliuer the Godlye out of temptacion, and howe to reserue the vniuste vnto the daye of iudgement for to be punyshed,

⁷ But the heauens verely and earth, which are now are kept by the same worde in store, and reserued vnto fyre, agaynste the daye of iudgemente, and perdycyon of vngodlye men. ⁸ He that committeth sinne, is of the deuil, for the deuil sinneth sence the beginninge. For this purpose appered the sonne of God to lowse the workes of the deuil.

⁷ Behold he commeth wyth cloudes, and al eyes shal se him: and they also whiche persed hym. And all kynredes of the earth shal waile. Euen so. Amen:

⁷ And there was great battayle in heauen, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angells, ⁸ and preuayled not, neyther was theyr place found any more in heauen. ⁹ And the great dragon, that olde serpente called the deuyll and Sathanas was caste out. Whiche deceyueth al the worlde. And he was cast into the earth, and his angelles were cast out also. ¹⁰ And I hearde a loude voyce sayinge: in heauen is nowe made saluacyon, and strength and the kyngdome of our God, and the power of hys Christe. For he is caste doune, whyche accused them before God daye and nyghte.

² And he toke the dragon that olde serpent which is the deuyl and Satanas, & he bound him a thousand yeares: ³ and cast him into the botomles pyt, and he bounde hym, and set a seale on him, that he shuld deceyue the people nomore, tyl the thousand yeares were fulfilled. And after that he must be loused for a lytle season.

¹⁰ & the deuyll that deceyued them, was caste into a lake of fyre and brymstone, where the beast and the false Prophet were & shalbe tormented daye and nyghte for euermore. ¹¹ And I sawe a great whyte seate and hym that sate on it, from whose face fled away bothe the earthe & heauen, & theyr place was no more founde. ¹² And I sawe the deade, both great and small stande before God: & the bokes were opened, & an other boke was opened, which is the boke of lyfe, and the dead were iudged of those thynges: which were wrytten in the bokes accordyng to theyr deedes: ¹³ & the sea gaue vp her deade, which were in her, & death & hel delyuered vp the deade which were in them: & they were iudged euery man according to hys deedes. ¹⁴ And death & hell were cast into the lake of fyre. Thys is that seconde death. ¹⁵ And who so euer was not founde wrytten in the boke of lyfe, was caste into the lake of fyre.
