³⁶ O father, let Iob be well tryed, because he hath turned hym self to the wycked:

⁶ The houses of robbers are in wealth & prosperite, and they that maliciously medle agaynst God, dwell without care: ye God geueth all thinges rychely with hys hande.

⁷ Wherfore do wicked men lyue in health and prosperite, come to their olde age, and increase in ryches?

¹⁵ Well thou wilt kepe the olde waye, that all wicked men haue gone:

¹⁶ For in so muche as he is God, he maketh my herte soft: and seynge that he is Almightye, he putteth me in feare.

¹ Consyderinge then that there is no tyme hyd from the almighty, how happeneth it, that they whyche know him, will not regarde his dayes?

⁸ which goeth in the company of wicked doars, & walketh with vngodly men? ⁹ For he sayeth: Thoughe a man be good, yet is he naughte before God.

³ Thou hast proued & visited myne herte in the night season: thou hast tryed me in the fyre: & hast founde no wickednes in me: for I vtterly purposed that my mouthe shoulde not offende.

² Examen me. O Lorde, and proue me: trye out my raines and my hert

¹¹ Beholde we count them happye whiche endure. Ye haue hearde of the pacience of Iob, & haue knowen what ende the Lorde made. For the Lorde is verye pytyfull and mercyfull.
