¹⁴ He rewardeth me into my bosome, and many other thinges mo doth he, as he maye by hys power.

³ Euen so haue I laboured whole monethes longe (but in vayne) and manye a carefull nyght haue I tolde.

¹⁹ Thy waye was in the sea, and thy pathes in the greate waters, yet coulde noman know thy fotesteppes.

² Cloudes & darkenesse are round about him, righteousnesse & iudgement are the habitacion of hys seate.

²⁷ How maye then Iacob thyncke, or how maye Israel saye: My wayes are hyd from the Lorde, and my God knoweth not of my iudgementes. ²⁸ Knowest thou not, or hast thou not hearde, that the euerlastynge God the Lorde whiche made all the corners of the earth, is nether weery nor faynt, & that his wysdome can not be comprehended,

⁹ that thou mayest be called a cytye of the Lorde, & that thy name maye be ryghtuousnesse. Heare (O ye trybes) who wolde els geue you soch warnynge?

³³ O the deapnes of the abundaunte wysedome and knoweledge of God: howe vnsearcheable are his iudgementes, and hys wayes paste fyndynge out?

³ that no man should be moued in these afflicons. For ye your selues knowe that we are euen appointed there vnto.

⁹ For God hath not annoynted vs vnto wrath: but to obtayne saluacyon by the meanes of oure Lord Iesu Christ

⁸ and a stone to stomble at, and a rocke to offende them whiche stomble at the word, and beleue not that whereon they were set.
