²⁷ Then shalt thou make thy prayer vnto hym, and he shal heare the, and thou shalt kepe thy promises.

²⁶ For yf he submytte hym self vnto God he is gracyous, and sheweth hym his countenaunce ioyfully, and rewardeth man for hys ryghtuousnes.

²⁸ In so muche that they haue caused the voyce of the poore to come vnto hym, and nowe he heareth the complaynte of suche as are in necessite.

¹⁴ Offre vnto God prayse and thankesgeuynge, and paye thy vowes vnto the most hyest. ¹⁵ And call vpon me in the tyme of trouble, so wyll I heare the, that thou shalte thanke me.

¹² Vnto the (O god) wil I paye my vowes, vnto the wyll I geue thankes and prayse.

¹³ Therfore wyll I go into thy house wyth brentoffrynges, to paye the my vowes, ¹⁴ which I promysed with my lippes, and spake wyth my mouth, when I was in trouble.

¹⁷ I called vnto hym wyth my mouthe, and gaue hym prayses wyth my toung. ¹⁸ If I enclyne vnto wyckednesse wyth my herte, the Lorde wyll not heare me. ¹⁹ Therfore God hath herde me, and consydred the voyce of my prayer. ²⁰ Praysed be God, which hath not cast out my prayer, ner turned his mercy fro me.

¹⁵ When he calleth vpon me, I shall heare hym: yea, I am with hym in hys trouble, wherout I will deliuer him, and bring hym to honoure.

¹ I am wel pleased, that the Lord hath hearde the voyce of my prayer.

¹⁴ I wyll paye my vowes in the presence of al his people,

⁴ If thou make a vowe vnto God, be not slacke to perfourme it. As for folish vowes, he hath no pleasure in them.

⁹ Then yf thou callest, the Lorde shall answere the: yf thou cryest, he shall saye: here I am. Yea, yf thou layest awaie thy burthens, and holdest thy fingers, and ceasest from blasphemous talkinge,

⁹ But I wyll do the sacryfyce wyth the voyce of thankesgeuynge, and wil paye that I haue vowed: for why? saluacion commeth of the Lorde.

¹⁴ And this is the truste that we haue in him, that yf we axe any thinge, accordinge to hys will he heareth vs. ¹⁵ And yf we knowe that he heareth vs whatsoeuer we axe, we knowe, that we shall haue the peticyons that we desyre of hym.
