⁵ Then the Prophet Ieremye gaue aunswere vnto the Prophete Hananiah, before the prestes and before all the people that were presente in the house of the Lorde.

² Stande vnder the gates of the Lordes house & crye oute these wordes there, wt a loude voyce, and saye: Heare the worde of the Lorde all ye of Iuda, that go in at thys dore, to honoure the Lord.

¹⁴ And so Ieremye came from Topheth, where the Lorde had sent hym to prophecye, and stode in the courte of the house of the Lorde, and spake to all the people:

² Thus sayeth the Lorde: Stand in the courte of the Lordes house, and speake vnto all them whiche (oute of the cyties of Iuda) come to do worshyppe in the Lordes house, all the wordes that I commaunde the to saye. Loke that thou kepe not one worde backe,

¹ And thys was done in the same yeare: euen in the begynnynge of the raygne of Zedekiah kynge of Iuda. Bvt in the fourthe yeare of the raygne of Zedekiah kyng of Iuda, in the fyfth moneth, It happened, that Hananiah the sonne of Assur the Prophet of Gabaon, spake to me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priestes & of al the people, & sayd.
