¹⁵ O how profunde art thou O God, thou God & Sauioure of Israel?

²⁴ Wherfore hydest thy face? wylte thou cleane forget oure mysery and oppression

²⁶ O geue thankes vnto God the Lorde in the congregacion, for the welles of Israel.

¹⁹ Thy waye was in the sea, and thy pathes in the greate waters, yet coulde noman know thy fotesteppes.

¹⁷ Thus I wayte vpon the Lorde that hath turned his face from the house of Iacob, and I loke vnto him.

² Beholde, God is my health, in whom I trust, & am not afraid. For the Lorde God is my strength and my praise, he also shalbe my refuge.

³ For I am the Lorde thy God, the holy one of Israel, thy Sauyour. I gaue Egypte for thy delyueraunce, the Moryans, and the Sabees for the:

¹¹ I am only the Lorde, and wythout me is there no Sauyour.

¹⁷ But Israell shalbe saued in the Lorde, which is the euerlastinge saluacion: They shall not come to shame ner confusyon, worlde without ende.

¹³ I shall brynge forth my ryghtuousnesse. It is not farre, and my health shall not traye longe awaye. I wyll laye health in Sion, and geue Israel my glorye.

¹⁷ I am wroth with him for his couetousnes and lust, I smyte him, I hyd me, and am angry, when he turneth him selfe, & foloweth the by the waye of his owne herte.

¹⁶ Thou shalt sucke the mylcke of the Gentiles, and kinges brestes shal fede the. And thou shalt knowe that I the Lorde am thy Sauyoure and defender, the mightie one of Iacob.

²² All thys was done to fulfyll that whyche was spoken of the Lorde by the Prophet, saiynge: ²³ Bholde a mayde shall be wyth chylde, and shal bringe forth a sonne, and they shall call hys name Emanuell, whyche is by interpretation, God wyth vs.

²² Ye worshype, ye wote not what: we knowe what we worshype. For saluation cometh of the Iewes.

⁴² & sayd vnto the woman. Now we beleue not because of thy saying. For we haue heard hym oureselues, & knowe that thys is euen in dede Christe the Sauioure of the worlde.

⁷ Iesus aunswered, and sayed vnto him: what I do, thou wotest not nowe, but thou shalt knowe hereafter.

³¹ Hym hath God lyfte vp with his ryght hand to be a ruler and a sauiour, for to geue repentaunce to Israell and forgeuenes of synnes?

²³ Of thys mans seed hath God (accordynge to hys promes) brought forth to the people of Israell a sauyour, one Iesus,

³³ O the deapnes of the abundaunte wysedome and knoweledge of God: howe vnsearcheable are his iudgementes, and hys wayes paste fyndynge out? ³⁴ For who hath knoweth the mynde of the Lord? Or who was his counseller?

¹⁸ but grow in grace, and in the knowledge of oure Lorde and Sauiour Iesus Christe. To whom be glorye both nowe and foreuer. Amen.
