²⁶ Lyft vp youre eyes on hye, and consydre. Who hath made those thynges, whyche come out by so greate heapes? And he can call them all by their names. For there is nothynge hyd vnto the greatnesse of his power, strength, and myght.

¹ Thus was heauen and erth fynyshed with all their apparel, ² and in the seuenth day God ended hys worke whiche he had made, & rested in the seuenth day from al his workes which he had made.

¹⁹ Yea, & least thou lyfte vp thyne eye vnto heauen, & when thou seist the sunne and the mone and the starres and whatsoeuer is contained in heauen, shouldest be deceyued and shouldest bowe thy selfe to them and serue the thynges whych the Lord thy God hathe distributed vnto all nations that are vnder al quarters of heauen.

²⁶ Dyd I euer greatly regard the rysynge of the sunne? or had I the goyng doune of the mone in greate reputacyon? ²⁷ Hath my hert medled priuely wt any disceyte? Or dyd I euer kisse mine owne hande? ²⁸ that were a wyckednesse worthy to be punished, for then I shoulde haue denyed the God that is aboue.

³ For I considre thy heauens, euen the worke of thy fingers: the moone & the starres which thou hast made. ⁴ Oh what is man, that thou art so myndfull of hym? either the sonne of man that thou visitest hym?

¹ To the chaunter, a Psalm of Dauid. The very heauens declare the glory of God, and the very firmament sheweth his handy worcke.

¹¹ The heauens are thine, the earth is thine: thou hast layed the foundation of the rounde world, and al that therin is. ¹² Thou hast made the north and the south, Tabor and Hermon shal reioyse in thy name ¹³ Thou hast a myghty arme, stronge is thy hande, and hye is thy righthande.

²⁵ Thou Lorde in the beginnyng hast layed the foundacion of the earth, and the heauens are the workes of thy handes.

⁴ He telleth the numbre of the starres, and calleth them all by their names. ⁵ Great is our Lord, & great is his power: yea, hys wysdome is infinitie.

³ Prayse hym Sunne and Moone, prayse hym all ye starres and light. ⁴ Prayse hym all ye heauens, and ye waters that be vnder the heauens. ⁵ Let them prayse the name of the Lorde, for he commaunded, and they were made. ⁶ He hath made them fast for euer and euer, he hath geuen them a lawe whiche shall not be broken.

¹⁶ Seke thorow the scrypture of the Lorde & rede it. There shall none of these thynges be left out, there shall not one (ner soche lyke) fayle. For what his mouth commaundeth, that same doth hys sprete gather together (or fulfylleth.)

⁵ For thus sayeth God the Lord vnto hym (euen he that the made heauens, and spred them abrode & seth forth the earth with her increase, whych geueth breath vnto the people that is in it, & to them that dwell therin)

²⁴ For thus sayth the Lorde thy redemer euen he that fashioned the from thy mothers wombe: I am the Lorde, whiche do all thinges my selfe alone. I onlye haue spred oute the heauens and I only haue layde the foundacyon of the earth.

⁷ It is I that created the lyght and darcknes, I make peace & trouble yee euen I the Lorde do all these thinges.

¹³ My hande is the foundacyon of the earthe, & my ryghte hande spanneth ouer the heauens. As sone as I called them they were there.

⁶ Lyfte vp youre eyes towarde heauen, & loke vpon the earthe beneth. For the heauens shall vanyshe awaye lyke smoke, & the earthe shall teare lyke a clothe, & they that dwell therein, shall peryshe in lyke maner. But my healthe endureth for euer, & my ryghtuousnes shall not cease.

¹¹ As for theyr Goddes, it maye well be sayde of them: they are Goddes, that made neyther heauen nor earthe: therfore shall they peryshe from the earthe, & from al thynges vnder heauen ¹² But (as for oure God) he made the earth with his power, and with hys wysdom hath he fynished the whole compasse of the worlde, wyth hys discrecion hath he spred oute the heauens.

¹⁷ O Lorde God, it is thou that hast made heauen and earthe wyth thy greate power, and hye arme, and there is nothinge to harde for the. ¹⁸ Thou shewest mercy vpon thousandes, thou recompencest the wickednes of the fathers, into the bosume of the children, that come after them. ¹⁹ Thou art the greate and myghtie God, whose name is the Lorde of Hostes, greate in counsel, and infinite in thought. Thine eyes loke vpon all the wayes of mens chyldren, to rewarde euery one after his waye, and according to the frutes of his inuencyons.

¹⁶ For by hym were all thynges created, thinges that are in heauen, and thinges that are in earth: thinges visible and thinges inuisible, whether they be maiestye or Lordeshyp, eyther rule or power. Al thynges are created by hym and in hym, ¹⁷ and he is before all thinges, and in hym all thinges haue theyr beynge.
