² Beare ye one anothers burthen, and so fulfyl the lawe of christ.

⁵ If thou se thine enemies asse synke vnder his burthen, thou shalt not passe by and let him alone: but shalt helpe hym to lyfte hym vp againe.

¹¹ And Moses sayde vnto the Lorde: wherfore dealest thou so cruelly wyth thy seruaunte? wherfore do I not fynde fauoure in thi sight seynge that thou puttest the weyght of thys people vpon me? ¹² haue I conceyued all thys people, or haue I begotte them, that thou shouldest saye vnto me, carye them in thy bosome (as a nurse beareth the suckyng chyld) vnto the land whych thou swarest vnto their fathers?

¹² how (sayde I) can I my selfe alone, beare the combraunce, charge & stryfe that is amonge you:

⁶ But this fastyng pleaseth not me, til the tyme be thou louse him out of bondage, that is in thy daunger: that thou breake the ooth of wicked barginnes, that thou let the oppressed go fre and take from them all maner of burthens.

¹⁷ to fulfyll that which was spoken by Esaias the prophete sayinge. He toke on him oure infyrmyteis, & beare oure sycknesses.

²⁹ Take my yocke on you and learne of me, for I am meke and lowly in herte: and ye shall fynde reste vnto your soules. ³⁰ For my yocke is easy: and my burden is lyght.

⁴⁶ Then he sayde: Wo be to you also ye lawyars, for ye lade men wt burthens greuous to be borne, and ye youre selues touche not the packes with one of your fyngers.

¹⁴ Yf I then your lord and mayster haue washed your fete, ye also ought to wash one anothers fete. ¹⁵ For I haue geuen you an ensample, that ye shoulde do as I haue done to you.

³⁴ A newe commaundement geue I vnto you, that ye loue together, as I haue loued you, that euen so ye loue one another.

¹² This is my commaundement, that ye loue together as I haue loued you.

² For the law of the spirite that bringeth lyfe through lyfe through Iesus Christe, hath delyuered me from the lawe of synne & death.

¹ We whiche are strong, ought to beare the fraylnes of them whiche are weake, and not to stande in our owne conceptes.

²¹ To them that were without lawe, became I as though I had ben without the lawe (when I was not without lawe as perteyninge to God, but vnder a lawe as concerninge Christe) to wynne them that were without lawe.

¹³ Brethren ye were called into lybertye onelye let not youre lybertye be an occasyon vnto the fleshe, but in loue serue one another. ¹⁴ For all the lawe is fulfylled in one worde: whiche is thys: thou shalte loue thyne neyghboure as thy selfe.

⁵ For euery man shal beare his owne burthen.

¹⁴ We desyre you brethren, warne them that are vnruly, comforte the feble minded, forbeare the weake, haue contynuall pacience towarde all men.

⁸ Yf ye fulfyll the royall lawe accordynge to the scripture whiche sayeth. Thou shalte loue thyne neyghboure as thy self, ye do wel.

²⁴ which hys owne selfe bare oure synnes in hys body on the tree, that we shoulde be delyuered from synne, and shoulde lyue in ryghtuousnes. By whose strypes ye were healed.

⁸ The olde commandement is the word, which ye heard from the beginninge. Againe a new commaundement I write vnto you, a thinge that is true in him, and also in you, for the darkenes is past, and the true light now shineth. ⁹ He that sayeth how that he is in the light, and yet hateth his brother, is in dackenes euen vntill this tyme. ¹⁰ He that loueth his brother, abideth in the lyghte, and there is none occasion of euill in him. ¹¹ He that hateth his brother, is in darckenes and walketh in darckenes, and can not tell whether he goeth, because that darckenes hath blinded his eyes.

²¹ And this commaundemente haue we of him that he which loueth God, should loue his brother also.
