¹⁵ But when it pleased God (whiche separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by hys grace,

⁷ It was not bicause of the multitude of you aboue al nations, that the Lord had lust vnto you and chose you. For ye were fewest of all nations. ⁸ But bycause the Lord loued you & bicause he would kepe the oth whych he hadde sworne vnto your fathers, therfore he brought you out of Egypt with a mighty hande and deliuered you out of the house of bondage: euen from the hande of Pharao, kynge of Egypt.

²² But the Lorde wyl not forsake hys people, because of hys great names sake: because the Lorde had begonne to make you hys people.

⁴ Moreouer the Lorde God of Israel chose me of all the house of my father, to be kyng ouer Israel for euer, for he chose Iuda to be a capytayne: & in the house of Iuda, the house of my father, and of the sonnes of my father he had a luste to me, to make me kynge ouer all Israel. ⁵ And of all my sonnes (for the Lorde hathe geuen me manye sonnes) he hath chosen Salomon my sonne, to syt in the seate of the kingdom of the Lorde ouer Israel.

¹ Ye Iles, herken vnto me, & take hede ye people from farre. The Lorde hath called me from my byrth, and made mencion of my name from my mothers womb:

⁵ And now sayth the Lord euen he that fashioned me from my mothers wombe to be his seruaunte, that I may bring Iacob agayne vnto him: howbe it, Israel wil not be gathered vnto hym agayne. In whose syght I am greate; whiche also is my Lorde my God and my strength.

⁵ Before I fashyoned the in thy mothers wombe, I did know the. And or euer thou wast borne, I sanctifyed the, and ordeyned the, to be a Prophete vnto the people.

²⁶ euen so father, for so it pleased the.

¹⁵ For he shalbe greate in the syght of the Lorde, and shall neyther drinke wyne nor stronge drinke. And he shalbe fylled with the holy ghost, euen in his mothers wombe: ¹⁶ and manye of the children of Israel shal he turne to their Lorde God.

²¹ That same time reioysed Iesus in the spirite, and sayde: I confesse vnto the father, Lorde of heauen and earth, that thou haste hyd these thynges from the wyse and prudente, and hast opened them to the babes. Euen so father for so pleased it the.

¹⁵ The Lorde said vnto him: go thy wayes for he is a chosen vessel vnto me, to beare me name before the gentyls and kynges, and the chyldren of Israel.

² As they ministred to the Lorde and fasted, the holy ghost sayde: separate me Barnabas and Saule, for the worke where vnto I haue called them.

¹⁴ And he sayde: the God of oure fathers hath ordeyned the before, that thou shouldeste knowe hys wyll, and shouldeste se that which is ryghtfull: and shouldest heare the voyce of hys mouth: ¹⁵ for thou shalte be hys wytnes vnto all men of those thynges whiche thou haste sene and hearde.

¹ Paule the seruaunte of Iesus Christ called to be an Apostle, put aparte to preache the Gospel of God,

⁵ by whom we haue receyued grace and Apostleshyp, to brynge all maner heathen people vnto the obedience of the fayth that is in his name:

³⁰ More ouer whiche he appointed before, them he also called. And which he called, them also he iustified, whiche he iustified, them he also glorifyed.

²⁴ that is to saye, vs whom he called, not of the Iewes only, but also of the gentils.

¹ Paule by vocacyon an Apostle of Iesus Christe thorow the wyll of God, & brother Sostenes.

⁹ For God is faythfull, by whome ye are called vnto to the felowshyppe of hys sonne Iesus Christ oure Lorde.

²⁴ but vnto them, whiche are called both of Iewes and Grekes we preache Christe the power of God, and the wisdome of God.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me, was not in vaine, but I laboured more aboundantly then they al, not I but the grace of God which is with me.

⁶ I maruayle that ye are so sone turned from hym that called you in the grace of Christ, vnto an other Gospell:

⁵ And ordeyned vs before thorowe Iesus Christe to be heyres vnto hym selfe, according to the pleasure of hys wyll,

⁹ And hath opened vnto vs the misterye of hys wyll accordyng to hys pleasure and purposed the same in hym selfe

¹¹ accordinge to the eternal purpose, whiche he purposed in Christe Iesu our Lorde,

¹³ But we are bounde to geue thankes alwaye to God for you brethren beloued of the Lorde, because that God hath from the beginnynge chosen you to saluacyon, thorow sanctifiynge of the spyryte, and thorowe beleuing the truet ¹⁴ whereunto he called you by oure Gospell, to obtayne the glorye that commeth of oure Lorde Iesu Christe.

¹² And I thanke Christe Iesus oure Lorde which hath made me stronge: for he counted me true, and put me in offyce, ¹³ when before I was a blasphemer and persecuter, and a tyraunte. But I obtayned mercye, because I dyd it ignorauntly thorowe vnbelefe. ¹⁴ Neuerthelater the grace of oure Lorde was more aboundaunt wyth fayth and loue whiche is in Christ Iesu.

⁹ whiche saued vs and called vs with an holye callynge, not accordynge to hys owne purpose & grace whiche grace was geuen vs thorowe Christe before the worlde was,

¹⁰ The God of al grace, which called you vnto his eternal glory by Christe Iesus, shall hys owne selfe after ye haue suffred a litle affliccion make you perfecte, shall settle, strength and stablishe you.
