¹⁷ Wherfore thus sayth the Lorde: hereby thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord. Behold, I wyl smite with the staffe that is in myne hand vpon the waters that are in the ryuer, and they shal turne to bloude.

²² Then Pharao charged al his people saying Al the men children that are borne, cast into the ryuer, and saue the mayd children alyue.

⁹ But and if they wyll not beleue the two sygnes, neyther herken vnto thy voyce, then take of the water of the riuer and poure it vpon the dry land. And the water which thou takest out of the ryuer shall turne to bloude vpon the drye land.

² And Pharao answered: what felowe is the Lorde, that I should heare hys voyce for to let Israell go?

⁷ And I wyl take you for my people and wil be to you a God. And ye shall know that I am the Lorde your God, whyche bryng you out from vnder the burdens of the Egyptians.

⁵ And the Egyptyans shall knowe that I am the Lorde when I haue stretched forthe my hande vpon Egypte, and haue brought out the children of Israel from among them.

⁴⁶ This day shal the Lorde delyuer the into my hande, and I shall smyte the and take thyne head from the, and I will geue the karcases of the hoste of the Philistines this day vnto the foules of the ayre and to the beastes of the earth, and al the worlde shal knowe, that there is a God in Israel. ⁴⁷ And al this congregacyon shal know, that the Lorde saueth not wyth the swerde and speare. For the battel is the Lordes, and he shal geue you into oure handes.

²⁸ Then there came a man of God and sayde vnto the kyng of Israel: thus sayeth the Lorde? Because the Siriens saye, the Lorde is but a God of the hylles, and not God of the valeys to: therfore wyl I delyuer all thys great multytude into thyne hande that ye may know that I am the Lorde.

¹⁹ Nowe therfore Lorde our God, saue thou vs oute of his hande, that all the kingdomes of the earth may knowe, that thou Lorde art God alone.

¹⁶ Thus the Lord is knowen to execute true iudgemente, when the vngodly is trapped in the woorkes of hys owne handes. Selah.

⁴⁴ How he turned their waters into bloude, so that they myghte not dryncke of the ryuers.

¹⁸ That they may know that thou art alone that thy name is the Lorde, & that thou onely art the moost hyest ouer all the earth.

²⁹ He turned their waters into bloude, and slew theyr fysh.

⁹ Yea the lande of Egypte shalbe desolate and waste, & they shal knowe, that I am the Lord. Because he sayde: the water is myne, I my selfe haue made it.

⁸ And they shal know, that I am the Lorde, when I kyndle a fyre in Egypte, and when all her helpers are destroyed.

¹⁹ Thus wyll I punysh Egipte that they may know, how that I am the Lord.

¹⁵ when I make the lande of Egypte desolate, and when the countre wyth al that is therin, shalbe layde waste: and when I smyte all them whiche dwell in it, that they maye knowe, that I am the Lorde.

²³ Thus wyll I be magnifyed, honoured, and knowne amonge the Heathen: that they maye be sure, how that I am the Lorde.

²⁸ then shall they knowe, that I am the Lorde their God, which suffred them to be led in to cautyuyte amonge the Heathen, but now haue brought them agayne in to their owne lande, and not left one of them yonder.

¹⁷ This erande of the watcher is a commaundement grounded and sought oute in the councell of him, that is most holye, to learne men for to vnderstande, that the hyest hath power, ouer the kyngedomes of men, and geueth them, to whome it lyketh hym, & bryngeth the very oute castes of men ouer them.

³² thou shalte be cast oute of mens companye: thy dwelling shalbe with the beastes of the felde, so that thou shalte eate grasse lyke as an oxe, tyll seuen yeares be come & gone ouer the: euen vntill thou knoweste, that the hyest hath power vpon the kyngdoms of men, and that he may geue them, vnto whom it pleaseth hym.

³⁷ Then dyd I Nabuchodonosor loue, magnifye and prayse the kynge of heauen: for all hys worckes are true, and hys wayes righte. As for those that go on proudely, he is able to brynge them doune.

²¹ He was shote oute from amonge men, his herte was lyke a beastes herte, and hys dwellynge was wyth the wylde asses: he was fayne to eate grasse lyke an oxe, and hys body was wet with the dewe of the heauen: tyll he knewe, that the hyest had power vpon the kingdomes of men, and setteth ouer them, whome he lyst.

²³ but hast magnyfyed thy selfe aboue the Lorde of heauen, so that the vessels of hys house were broughte before the, that thou, and thy Lordes, with thy quene and concubynes, myght drincke wyne thereoute: And hast praysed the Idoles of syluer and golde, copper and yron, of wode and stone: As for the God in whose hande consysteth thy breth and all thy wayes: thou haste not loaued hym.

⁸ And the seconde angel blewe: and as it were a greate mountaine burning wyth fyre was caste into the sea, and the thyrde parte of the sea turned to bloud,

⁶ These haue power to shut heauen, that it rayne not in the daies of they: Prophesiyng, and haue power ouer waters to turne them to bloud, and to smyte the earth wyth al maner plages, as often as they will.

³ And the seconde angel shed oute his vial vpon the sea, & it turned as it were into the bloud of a dead man, & euery liuing thing dyed in the sea. ⁴ And the thyrde angel shed out his vial vpon the riuers & fountaines of waters & they turned to bloud. ⁵ And I heard an angel say: Lord which art & wast, thou art rightuous & holy, because thou hast geuen such iudgementes, ⁶ for they shed out the bloud of sainctes, & prophetes, & therfore hast thou geuen them bloud to drinke, for they are worthy.
