²¹ Then thou shalt saye vnto thy sonne: We were bondmen vnto Pharao in Egypte, but the Lorde broughte vs out of Egypt wyth a myghty hand.

¹⁹ Notwithstandynge I am sure that the kyng of Egypte wyl not let you go, except it be wyth a myghty hand:

³ And Moses sayd vnto the people: thyncke on thys day in whych ye came out of Egypt & out of the house of bondage: for wt a mighty hand the Lord brought you out from thence. Se therfore that ye eate no leuended bread.

² I am the Lorde thy God, which haue brought the out of the lande of Egipte and out of the house of bondage.

⁶ I am the Lord thy God which brought the out of the land of Egypte, the house of bondage.

¹⁵ And remembre that thou was a seruaunte in the Lande of Egipt and how that the Lord God, brought the out thence wyth a mighty hande and a streatched out arme. For whyche cause the Lord thy God commaunded the to kepe the Saboth day.

¹⁵ And remembre that thou waste a seruaunt in the lande of Egypte, and the Lord thy God delyuered the thence: wherfore I commaunde the thys thyng to daye.

⁵ And thou shalt answere and saye before the Lord thy God: The Syrians wolde haue destroied my father, and he went doune into Egypte and soiourned there with a fewe folcke and grewe there vnto a nacyon greate, mightie and ful of people. ⁶ And the Egypcians vexed vs and troubled vs, & laded vs with cruel bondage. ⁷ And we cryed vnto the Lorde God of oure fathers, and the Lord heard oure voyce and loked on oure aduersyte, laboure & oppressyon. ⁸ And the Lord brought vs out of Egipt with a myghtye hand & a stretched out arme & wt great terreblenesse and with signes and wonders. ⁹ And he hath brought vs in to thys place and hath geuen vs this land that floweth wyth mylke & honye.

⁹ & haste consydered the mysery of oure fathers in Egypte, & hearde theyr complaynte by the read sea, ¹⁰ & shewed tokens and wonders vpon Pharao, & on all hys seruauntes, and on al the people of his land: for thou knewest that they were presumptuous & cruell agaynst them, & so madest thou the a name as it is this daye.

¹⁰ Whych smote Egypt wyth their fyrste borne, for his mercy endureth for euer. ¹¹ And brought out Israell from among them, for his mercy endureth for euer. ¹² With a myghtye hand and stretcheth out arme, for his mercy endureth for euer.

¹ Herken vnto me, ye that hold of ryghtuousnes, ye that seke the Lord. Take hede vnto the stone whereout ye are hewen, and to the graue whereoute ye are digged.

²⁰ Thou hast done greate tokens and wonders in the lande of Egipt (as we se this daye) vpon the people of Israel, and vpon those men: to make thy name greate, as it is come to passe this daye. ²¹ Thou hast brought thy people Israell out of the land of Egipt, with tokens, wt wondres, with a mightye hande, with a stretched out arme, and with greate terriblenes:

¹⁷ God be thanked that though ye were ones the seruauntes of synne ye haue yet obeyed with herte vnto the forme of doctrine wherunto ye were delyuered. ¹⁸ Ye are then made fre from sinne, & are become the seruauntes of rightuousnes.

¹¹ Wherfore remember that ye, beynge in tyme passed Gentyles in fleshe, and were called vncircumcision to them whiche are called circumcision in the fleshe, whiche circumcision is made by handes: ¹² Remember I saye, that ye were at that tyme without Christe, and were reputed aliantes from the commen welth of Israel, and were straungers from the testamentes of promes, and had no hope and were wythout God in thys worlde.
