¹⁴ The secrete of the Lorde is amonge them that feare him, and he sheweth them hys couenaunt.

¹¹ He aunswered and sayde vnto theym: it is geuen vnto you to know the secretes of the kyngdom of heauen, but to them it is not geuen

¹¹ & he sayd vnto them: To you it is geuen to knowe the mysterye of the kyngedome of God. But vnto them that are without: shal al thynges be done in similitudes:

¹⁰ And he sayed vnto you is it geuen to knowe the secretes of the kingdome of God: but to other in symylytudes, that when they se, they shoulde not vnderstande.

²⁵ To hym that is of power to stablysh you, accordynge to my Gospell and preachinge of Iesus Christe, in vtterynge of the mysterye whiche was kepte secrete sence the worlde began, ²⁶ but nowe is opened by the scriptures of prophesye, at the commaundemente of the euerlastynge God, to stere vp obedience to the fayth publyshed among all nacions:

⁷ but we speake that wysdome of God, whiche is in secrete and lyeth hyd, whiche God ordeined before the world vnto oure glory,

³ For by reuelation shewed he this misterie to me as I wrote aboue in fewe wordes, ⁴ wherby when ye reade, ye maye knowe myne vnderstandinge in the misterye of Christe. ⁵ Which mysterye in tymes passed was not opened to the sonnes of men, as it is now declared vnto his holye Apostles and Prophetes by the spyrite ⁶ that the Gentyles shoulde be inheritours also, and of the same bodye, and partakers of hys promes that is in Christe, by the meanes of the Gospell, ⁷ wherof I am made a mynyster, by the gyfte of the grace of God geuen vnto me thorowe the workynge of hys power. ⁸ Vnto me the leaste of all sainctes is this grace geuen, that I shoulde preache amonge the Gentyls the vnsearcheable ryches of Christe, ⁹ and to make all men se what the fellowshyp of the mysterye is, whiche from the beginninge of the worlde hath bene hyde in God, whiche made all thinges thorowe Iesus Christ, ¹⁰ to the entente, that nowe vnto the rulers & powers in heauen myght be knowen (by the congregation) the manifolde wysedome of God,

¹⁰ but is nowe declared openlye by the appearynge of oure sauyoure Iesu Christ whiche hath put awaye deathe, & hath broughte lyfe and immortalitye to light thorow the Gospell,
