¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, that is to wyt of the congregation: he is the beginning and fyrst begotten of the dead, that in all thinges he might haue the preeminence.

² Thou arte the fayrest amonge the chyldren of men, full of grace are thy lyppes, therfore God blesseth the for euer. ³ Gyrde the with thy swerde vpon thy thyghe (O thou mightye) with worshippe and renowne. ⁴ Good lucke haue thou with thyne honor, ryde on with the trueth, mekenesse & righteousnes: and thy righthand shall teach the wonderfull thynges. ⁵ Thy arrowes are sharpe, the people shal be subdued vnto the, euen in the myddest amonge the kynges enemyes.

²⁷ And I will make hym my fyrste borne, hyer then the kynges of the earth.

¹⁰ As for my loue, he is whyte and read coloured, a singular personne amonge mauy thousandes:

¹³ Beholde, my seruaunt shall deale wysely, therfore shall he be magnyfyed, exalted and greatly honoured.

⁸ But ye shall not suffer youre selues to be called Rabbi. For one is your master, that is to witte Christ, and all ye are brethreu.

¹⁸ And Iesus came and spake vnto them saiynge: all power is geuen vnto me in heauen and in earth.

¹ In the begynnynge was the worde, and the word was with God, & the worde was God.

¹⁶ And of his fulnes haue all we receyued, euen (grace) for grace.

²⁷ he it is that cometh after me, which was before me, whose shoe latchet I am not worthy to vnlose.

²⁹ He that hath the bryde is the brydegrome. But the frend of the brydegrom, whiche standeth by and heareth him reioyseth greatlye of the brydegromes voyce. Thys my ioye is fulfilled. ³⁰ He muste increace: and I muste decreace. ³¹ He that commeth from an hye is aboue al. He that is of the earth, is of the earth, & speaketh of the earth. He that commeth from heauen, is aboue all,

³⁴ For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the wordes of God: For God geueth not the spirite by measure. ³⁵ The father loueth the sonne and hath geuen all thinges into his hand.

²⁵ Iesus sayed vnto her: I am the resurreccion and the lyfe. He that beleueth on me, ye though he were dead, yet shall he lyue. ²⁶ And whosoeuer lyueth, and beleueth on me, shall neuer dye. Beleuest thou thys?

²³ that Christe shoulde suffer, and that he shoulde be the fyrste, that shoulde ryse from death, and shoulde shewe lyghte vnto the people, and to the gentyls.

²⁹ For those which he knewe before he also ordeyned before, that they shoulde be like fashioned vnto the shape of hys sonne that he myght be the fyrste begotten sonne amonge manye brethren.

³ I woulde you knewe that Christ is the heade of euery man. And the man is the womans heade. And God is Christes heade.

²⁰ But now in Christ rysen from the dead, and is become the fyrste fruytes of them that slepte. ²¹ For by a man came death, and by a man came the resurceccion of the dead. ²² For as by Adam all dye: euen so by Christe, shall all be made aliue, ²³ and euery man in his owne order. The fyrste is Christe, then they that are Christes at his comminge.

²⁵ For he muste reigne tyll he haue put all hys enemies vnder his fete.

¹⁰ to haue it declared, when the tyme were full come, that all thynges, bothe the thynges whiche are in heauen, & also thynges whiche are in earth shoulde be gathered together euen in Christ:

²² and hath put all thynges, vnder hys fete, and hath made hym aboue all thynges the heade of the congregacyon, ²³ which is hys bodye, and the fulnes of hym that fylleth all in all thynges.

¹⁵ But let vs folowe the truethe in loue, and in al thinges growe in him which is the head, that is to saye, Christe, ¹⁶ in whom all the body is coupled and knyt together in euerye ioynt, wherwyth one ministreth to another (accordynge to the operation, as euerye parte hath hys measure) and encreaseth the bodye, vnto the edifiynge of it selfe in loue.

²³ For the husbande is the wyues head, euen as Christe is the heade of the congregation, and the same is the sauiour of the body.

²⁴ Nowe ioye I in my sufferinges which I suffer for you, and fulfyll that whiche is behinde of the passions of Christe in my fleshe for his bodies sake, which is the congregacion,

¹⁰ and ye are complete in hym, whiche is the head of al rule and power, ¹¹ in whom also ye are circumcysed with circumcision made withoute handes, by puttinge of the synful body of the fleshe thorow the circumcision, that is in Christ, ¹² in that ye are buried, wt him thorow baptisme in whom ye are also risen again thorow fayth, that is wroughte by the operacion of God, which raysed hym from death. ¹³ And ye which were dead in sinne thorow the vncircumcision of youre fleshe, hath he quyckened with him, and hath forgeuen vs al oure treaspases. ¹⁴ And hath put out the hande wryttinge that was againste vs, contayned in the lawe wrytten, and that hath he taken out of the waye, and hath fastened it to his crosse,

⁵ For vnto whyche of the Angelles sayed he anye tyme: Thou arte my sonne, thys day begat I the? And agayne: I wyll be hys father, and he shall be my sonne. ⁶ And agayne: when he bringeth in the fyrst begotten sonne into the worlde, he sayeth: And al the Angels of God shal worshyppe him.

¹ That whyche was from the begynninge, whyche we haue hearde, whyche we haue sene with oure eyes, which we haue loked vpon and our handes haue handeled, of the word of the lyfe.

⁵ and from Iesus Christ, whiche is a faythfull wytnes, and fyrst begotten of the dead, and Lorde ouer the kynges of the earth. Vnto him, that loued vs and washed vs from synnes in his owne bloude,

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the begynnynge and the endynge, sayeth the Lorde almyghty, whiche is, which was, and whiche is to come.

¹⁸ and am alyue, and was dead. And beholde I am alyue for euer more and haue the kayes of hell, & of death.

¹⁴ And vnto the messenger of the congregacion, which is in Laodicia wryte: Thys sayth (Amen) the faythful and true wytnes, the beginninge of the creatures of God.

⁹ and they songe a new songe saiyng: thou art worthy to take the boke, and to open the seales therof: for thou wast kylled, & hast redemed vs by thy bloud out of al kynredes, and tonges, and people, and nacions ¹⁰ and hast made vs to our God, kynges, and priestes, & we shal reigne on the earth. ¹¹ And I behelde, and I heard the voyce of many angels about the throne, and about the beastes, and the elders, and I heard thousande thousandes, ¹² sayinge wyth a loud voyce: Worthy is the lamb that was kylled to receiue power, and riches, and wysdome, and strength, and honoure, & glorye and blessing. ¹³ And al creatures whiche are in heauen, and on the earth, and vnder the earth, and in the sea, and al that are in them hearde I saiynge: blessing, honour, glory, and power be vnto him that sytteth vpon the seate, and to the Lambe for euermore.

¹⁵ And the seuenth angell blewe, and there were made greate voyces in heauen, sayinge: the kyngdomes of thys worlde are oure Lordes and hys Christes, & he shall raygne for euer more.

⁶ And he said vnto me: it is done, I am Alpha & Omega, the beginning & the ende. I will geue to hym that is a thyrst of the wel of the water of lyfe free.

²³ & the cytye hath no nede of the sunne neyther of the mone to lyghten it. For the bryghtnes of God dyd lyght it, & the lambe was the lyght of it. ²⁴ And the people which are saued, shall walke in the light of it: & the kinges of the earth shal brynge theyr glory vnto it.
