¹³ Other mocked them sayinge: they are full of newe wyne.

¹⁴ & sayd vnto her: how long wilt thou be droncken? put away from the, the wine that thou hast

¹⁹ Beholde, I am as the newe wyne, whiche hath no vente, and bursteth the newe vessels in sunder.

⁹ and thy throte like the beste wine. This shalbe pure and cleare for my loue, his lippes & teth shal haue their pleasure.

⁶ Moreouer the Lorde of Hostes shall ones prepare a feaste, for all people vpon the hyll: A plenteous, costly, pleasaunt feaste, of fat & wel fede beastes, of swete & most pure thinges.

¹⁵ The Lorde of hostes shall defende them, they shall consume and deuoure, & subdue them with slyng stones. They shal dryncke & rage as it were thorow wyne. They shalbe fylled like the basens, & as the hornes of the aulter.

¹⁷ O how prosperous & goodlye a thinge shall that be? The corne shall make the yong men chearefull, and the newe wyne the maydens.

⁷ Ephraim shalbe as a gyaunt, and their hert shalbe chereful as thorow wine: yea, their children shall se it, & be glad, & their herte shall reioyce in the Lord.

¹⁵ These art not drounke, as ye suppose, for it is yet but the thyrde houre of the day.

²³ Yf therfore when all the congregation is come together, and all speake wyth tounges, there come in they that are vnlearned, or they whyche beleue not: wyll they not saye that ye are out of your wyttes?

¹⁸ and be not drounke wt wyne. wherin is excesse, but be fulfylled wyth the spirite,
