¹⁷ when he receiued of God the father honoure and glory, and when there came such a voice to hym from the excellente glorie: This is my deare beloued sonne in whome I haue delyte.

¹ Beholde now therfore, thys is my seruaunte whom I wyll kepe to my selfe: myne electe, In whom my soule shalbe pacified. I wyll geue hym my sprete, that he may shewe forth iudgement & equyte amonge the Gentyles.

¹⁰ Yet hath it pleased the Lorde to smyte him with infirmite, that when he had made hys soule an offerynge for synne, he myght se longe lasting sede. And this deuyce of the Lord shall prospere in hys hande.

¹⁷ And lo ther came a voice from heauen sayinge. This is my beloued sonne in whom is my delyte.

²⁵ At that time Iesus aunswered and said: I prayse the, O father Lorde of heauen and earth, because thou hast hid these thinges from the wyse and prudent, and hast opened theim vnto babes: ²⁶ euen so father, for so it pleased the. ²⁷ All thinges are geuen vnto me of my father. And no man knoweth the sonne but the father: neyther knoweth anye man the father, saue the sonne, and he to whom the sonne wyl open hym.

¹⁸ Beholde my chylde, whom I haue chosen my beloued, in whom my soule delyteth. I wyll put my sprryte on him, and he shall shew iudgement to the gentils.

³ & behold there appeared vnto theim Moyses & Helyas, talkyng with hym.

⁵ Whyle he yet speake, beholde a bryght cloude shadowed theim. And beholde there came a voyce out of the cloude, sayinge: this is my deare sonne, in whome I delite heare hym.

¹⁹ Go therfore & teache all nacyons, baptisyng them in the name of the father, and the sonne, & the holye ghoste.

¹¹ And there came a voyce from heauen: Thou arte my dere sonne in whom I delyte.

⁷ And there was a cloude that shadowed them. And a voyce came out of the cloud saying: This is my deare sonne, heare hym.

²² and the holye ghost came doune in a bodelye shape lyke a done vpon him, and a voyce came from heauen saiynge: thou art my deare sonne, in the do I delyte.

³⁴ Whyle he thus spake, ther came a cloude & shadowed them, and they feared when they were come vnder the cloude. ³⁵ And ther came a voice out of the cloude saiynge. This is my deare sonne, heare hym.

²² All thynges are geuen me of my father. And no man knoweth who the sonne is, but the father: neyther who the father is, saue the sonne, and he to whom the sonne wyll shewe hym.

³⁵ The father loueth the sonne and hath geuen all thinges into his hand.

²¹ For lykewyse as the father rayseth vp the dead, and quickeneth them: euen so the sonne quickeneth whom he wyll. ²² Neyther iudgeth the father anye man: but hath committed all iudgement vnto the sonne, ²³ because that all men should honoure the sonne, euen as they honoured the father. He that honoureth not the sonne: the same honoureth not the father, which hath sent him.

²⁶ For as the father hath lyfe in him selfe, so lykewyse hath he geuen to the sonne to haue lyfe in him selfe,

³⁶ But I haue greater witnes then the witnes of Iohn. For the workes which the father hath geuen me to fynyshe the same workes which I do, beare witnes of me that the father sent me. ³⁷ And the father himselfe which hath sent me, beareth witnes of me. Ye haue not hearde his voice at anye tyme nor ye haue sene his shape:

²⁷ Laboure not for the meate which perysheth, but for the meate that endureth vnto euerlasting lyfe, which meate the sonne of man shall geue vnto you. For hym hath God the father sealed.

³⁷ All that the father geueth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me, I cast not awaye.

³⁹ And this is the fathers wyll which hath sent me, that of all whiche hath geuen me, I shoulde loose nothinge: but shoulde rayse it vp agayne at the laste daye.

¹⁵ As my father knoweth me, euen so knowe I my father. And I geue my lyfe for the shepe:

³⁶ saye ye then to hym, whom the father hath sanctifyed, & sent into the worlde, thou blasphemest, because I sayed. I am the sonne of God?

²⁸ Father, glorifye thy name. Then came there a voyce from heauen: I haue glorifyed it, and wil glorifye it agayne. ²⁹ Then sayde the people that stode by, and hearde: it thoundreth, Other sayd an angell spake to him.

¹ Before the feast of Easter when Iesus knew that hys houre was come, that he shulde depart oute of thys worlde vnto the father. When he loued his which were in the worlde, vnto the ende he loued them. ² And when supper was ended, after that the deuyl had put in the herte of Iudas Iscarioth Simons sonne, to betraye hym. ³ Iesus knowyng that the father had geuen all thynges into hys handes, and that he was come from God, and went to God,

⁶ Iesus sayd vnto hym: I am the waye, the truthe and the lyfe. And no man commeth to the father, but by me.

⁸ Philip sayde vnto hym: Lorde shewe vs the father, and it suffyseth vs. ⁹ Iesus sayd vnto hym. Haue I bene so longe tyme with you, and yet haste thou not knowen me? Philip, he that hath sene me, hath sene the father. And how sayest thou then: shew vs the father?

¹¹ Beleue ye not that I am in the father, and the father in me? At the least beleue me for the very workes sake.

²¹ that they all maye be one, as thou father art in me, and I in the that they maye be also one in vs, that the worlde maye beleue that thou haste sent me.

¹⁷ Iesus sayd vnto her touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my father. But go to my brethren, & saye vnto them: I ascende vnto my father and youre father: to my God and your God.

⁶ that ye all agreynge together, maye with one mouthe prayse God the father of oure Lorde Iesus,

³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, the father of mercy, and the God of all comforte,

³¹ The God and father of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, whiche is blessed for euermore, knoweth that I lye not

³ Wyth you be grace, mercye, and peace from God the father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ the sonne of the father, in trueth and loue.

¹ Iudas the seruaunte of Iesus Christ, the brother of Iames. To them whyche are called & sanctyfied in God the father, and preserued in Iesu Christe.
