¹⁶ And he sayde: feare not: there are mo with vs then with them.

¹³ And Moses sayde vnto the people: feare ye not but stonde styll and beholde howe the Lorde shall saue you thys daye: For as ye se the Egyptians thys daye, shall ye se them nomore for euer tyl the worldes ende.

⁹ For the eyes of the Lorde beholde all the earthe, to strength the hertes of them that are hole with him. Herin thou hast done folyshly, and therfore from henceforth thou shalt haue warre.

⁷ Plucke vp youre hertes and be stronge. Be not afrayed or in any wyse discouraged for dreade of the kyng of Assur, and of the great multitude that is with hym: for there is one greater with vs then with him. ⁸ With him is an arme of flesh: But with vs is the Lorde oure God for to helpe vs and to fyght oure batayles. And the people were well couraged with the wordes of Hezekiah kynge of Iuda.

⁶ I am not afrayed for thousandes of the people, that compasse me rounde aboute.

¹ To the chaunter, of Dauid. In the Lord put I my trust: how will ye then saye too my soule: that she shoulde fle as a byrde vpon your hyll?

³ Thoughe an hooste of men were layed agaynst me, yet shall not my hert be afrayed: and though there rose vp warre agaynst me, yet wyll I put my trust in him.

I will helpe the. ¹⁴ Be not a frayde thou lytle worme Iacob, & thou despysed Israell for I will helpe the, sayeth the Lorde, and the holy one of Israel thyne auenger.

⁵³ Eyther thynkest thou that I can not nowe praye to my father, and he shal geue me more then .xij. legyons of Angelles?

⁶ And he sayed vnto them, be not afrayed: ye seke Iesus of Nazareth whiche was crucifyed. He is rysen, he is not here. Beholde the place where they put hym.

⁹ Then spake the Lorde to Paule in the nyght by a vision: be not afrayde, but speake, and hold not thy peace: ¹⁰ for I am with the, and no man shal inuad the that shal hurt the. For I haue much people in this citie.

³¹ What shall we then say vnto these thynges? yf God be on oure syde: who can be agaynste vs?

²⁸ and in nothing fearing your aduersaries: whiche is to them a token of perdicion, and to you of saluation, and that of God.

⁴ Lytel chyldren, ye are of God, and haue ouercome them, for greater is he that is in you, then he that is in the world.
