³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christe, whiche thorowe his aboundaunt mercye begat vs agayne vnto lyuely hope by the resurreccyon of Iesus Christe from death,

⁶ And when the Lord walked before him, he cried: Lord Lord God full of compassion and mercy, which are not lightly angry but abundaunt in mercy and truth,

¹⁵ And he sayde. Blessed be the Lorde God of Israel, which hath fulfylled wyth hys hande, that he spake wyth hys mouthe vnto Dauid my father sayinge:

¹⁰ And Dauid blessed the Lorde before all the congregacyon and sayde: Blessed arte thou Lorde God of Israel oure father, from euer and for euer. ¹¹ Thyne (O Lorde) is greatenesse, power glorye, vyctorye and prayse: for all that is in heauen and in earthe is thyne, and thyne is the kyngedome (O Lorde) and thou arte lyfte vp an head aboue all. ¹² And rychesse and honoure come of the, and thou raygnest ouer all, and in thyne hande is power and strengthe, and in thyne hande it is to make greate, and to geue strengthe vnto all. ¹³ And nowe oure God, we thanke the, and prayse thy gloryous name.

²⁰ And Dauid sayde to all the congregacion: blesse the Lorde youre God. And all the congregacyon blessed the Lorde God of theyr fathers, & stouped & bowed them selues vnto the Lorde, & to the Kynge.

¹³ O blessed be the Lorde God of Israel, from hence forth and for euermore. Amen. Amen.

¹⁸ Blessed be the Lorde God, euen the God of Israell, whiche onely doeth wonderous thinges. ¹⁹ And blessed be the name of his maiesty for euer, and al landes be fulfilled with his glory. Amen, Amen.

⁵ For thou Lorde arte good and gracyous, and of greate mercye vnto all them that call vpon the.

¹⁵ But thou, O Lord God, art ful of compassion, and mercy, long suffring, great in goodnes and truth.

¹⁹ But as for thy dead men and oures, that be departed, they are in lyfe and resurreccion. They lye in the earthe, they wake, & haue ioy: for thy dewe is a dew of lyfe and light. But the place of the malycyous Tyrauntes is fallen awaye.

² And he prayed vnto the Lord, & sayde: O Lord was not thys my sayinge (I praye the) when I was yet in my countre? therfore I hasted rather to fle vnto Tharsis, for I know well ynough that thou art a mercyfull God, full of compassion, long sufferyng, & of a great kyndnesse, & repentest when thou shuldest take punishment.

¹³ & which were borne not of the bloude nor of the wyl of the flesh, nor yet of the wyll of man: but of God.

³ Iesus aunswered & said to him: verely verely, I said vnto the: except a man be borne a new, he can not se the kingdome of God. ⁴ Nicodemus said vnto him: how can a man be borne when he is olde? can he enter into his mothers wombe and be borne againe? ⁵ Iesus aunswered: verely, verely, I saye vnto the: except that a man be boren of water and of the spyryte, he can not enter into the kyngdome of God. ⁶ That whyche is borne of the fleshe is fleshe: and that whiche is borne of the spyryte, is spyrite. ⁷ Marueyle not that I said to the, ye must be borne a newe. ⁸ The wynde bloweth wher it listeth: and thou hearest the sounde therof: but canst not tell whence it cometh and whyther it goeth: So is euery man that is borne of the spyryte.

²⁵ Whiche was deliuered for oure synnes and rose agayne for to iustifye vs.

⁴ pacience bringeth experience, experience bringeth hope. ⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed, for the loue of God is sheed abroade in our hertes by the holye ghost, which he is geuen vnto vs.

¹⁰ For yf when we were enemyes, we were reconciled to God by the death of hys sonne muche more, seynge we are reconciled, we shall be preserued by his lyfe.

¹⁵ But the gyfte is not lyke as the synne. For yf thorowe the synne of one, manye be dead: muche more plentuous vpon manye was the grace of God and gyfte by grace: Which grace was geuen by one man Iesus Christe. ¹⁶ And the gyfte is not ouer one that sinned. For damnacion came of one synne vnto condemnation but the gyfte came to iustify from many synnes. ¹⁷ For if by the synne of one death reygned by the meanes of one: muche more shall they whiche receyue aboundaunce of grace & of the gyfte of ryghtuousnes reigne in life by the meanes of one (that is to saye) Iesus Christe. ¹⁸ Lykewyse then as by the synne of one, condemnacion came on al men: euen so by the iustifiyng of one commeth the ryghtuousnes that bryngeth lyfe vpon al men. ¹⁹ For as by one mans disobedience many became synners: so by the obedience of one, shall manye be made ryghtuouse. ²⁰ But the law in the meane tyme entred in, that sinne should encreace. Neuerthelater where aboundaunce of synne was, there was more plentuousnes of grace, ²¹ that as synne had reygned vnto death, euen so myght grace raygne thorow rightuousnes vnto eternall lyfe, by the helpe of Iesus Christe.

¹¹ Wherfore yf the spirit of him that raysed vp Iesus frome deathe dwell in you, euen he that raysed vp Christe from death shall quicken your mortall bodyes, because that his spirite dwelleth in you.

²⁴ For we are saued by hope, But hope that is sene is no hope. For howe can a man hope for that which he seyth?

¹² Reioyce in hope. Be pacyent in trybulacyon. Contynue in prayer.

¹³ The God of hope fil you with all ioye, and peace in beleuynge, that ye maye be ryche in hope thorowe the power of the holye ghoste.

¹³ Nowe abideth fayth, hope, and loue, euen these thre: but the chiefe of these is loue.

²⁰ But now in Christ rysen from the dead, and is become the fyrste fruytes of them that slepte.

³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, the father of mercy, and the God of all comforte,

³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christe, which hath blessed vs wyth all maner of spyrytuall blessynges in heauenlye thynges by Christe,

⁷ By whome we haue redemption thorowe hys bloude, euen the forgeuenes of synnes accordyng to the ryches of hys grace

¹⁷ that the God of oure Lord Iesus Christ, and the father of glorye myghte geue vnto you the spyryte of wysdome, and open to you the knoweledge of hym selfe,

⁴ But God whiche is ryche in mercye thorow his great loue wherewith he loued vs,

⁶ and hath rayseth vs vp together, & made vs sitte together in heauenly thynges thorowe Christ Iesu, ⁷ for to shewe in tymes to come the excedinge riches of hys grace in kyndnes to vswarde in Christe Iesus. ⁸ For by grace are ye made safe thorowe fayth, and that not of youre selues. For it is the gyfte of God, ⁹ and commeth not of workes, leste anye man should bost him selfe. ¹⁰ For we are his worckmanshyp created in Christe Iesus to good workes, vnto the, whyche God ordeined vs before, that we should walke in them.

²⁰ Vnto hym that is able to do excedinge aboundantly aboue all that we are or thinke, accordinge to the power that worketh in vs,

²³ yf ye continue grounded and stablyshed in the fayth, and be not moued away from the hope of the Gospell, where of ye haue hearde, how that it is preached amonge al creatures which are vnder heauen, wherof I Paule am made a minister.

²⁷ to whom God woulde make knowen the glorious riches of this misterye amonge the Gentyls, whiche ryches is Christ, in you the hope of glorye,

³ wythoute ceasinge, and cal to remembraunce your worke the fayth, and laboure in loue & perseueraunce in the hope of our Lord Iesus Christ, in the syght of God oure father,

¹³ I woulde not brethren haue you ignoraunt concerninge them whiche are fallen a sleepe, that ye sorowe not as other do which haue no hope.

¹⁴ Neuerthelater the grace of oure Lorde was more aboundaunt wyth fayth and loue whiche is in Christ Iesu.

¹³ lokynge for that blessed hope and gloryous apperyng of the myghtye God, and of oure sauyoure Iesu Christe,

⁴ But after that the kyndnes and loue of our sauyoure God to man warde appered, ⁵ not of the dedes of rightuousnes, which we wrought but of hys mercy he saued vs, by the fountayne of the newe byrth, & with the renuyng of the holye ghost, ⁶ which he shed on vs aboundauntly, thorowe Iesus Christe oure sauyoure,

⁶ But Chryste as a sonne hath rule ouer the house, whose house are we, so that we holde faste the confidence and the reioysynge of that hope, vnto the ende.

¹⁸ that by two immutable thynges (in which it was vnpossyble that GOD shaulde lye) we myghte haue perfecte consolacyon, whiche haue fled, for to holde faste the hope that is set before vs, ¹⁹ whiche hope we haue an ancre of the soule both sure and stedfast. Whiche hope also entreth in, into those thynges that are wythin the vayle,

¹⁸ Of hys owne wyll begat he vs wyth the worde of lyfe, that we shoulde be the fyrste frutes of hys creatures.

²³ for ye are borne a newe, not of mortal seede, but of immortall, by the word of God whiche lyueth, and lasteth for euer.

² and as newe bourne babes, desyre that reasonable mylke whiche is wythout corrupcyon that ye maye growe therein.

²¹ which signifyeth baptisme that nowe saueth vs, not the puttinge awaye of the fylth of the fleshe, but in that a good conscience consenteth to God, by the resurreccion of Iesus Christe,

²⁹ If ye knowe that he is rightuous, knowe also that he whiche foloweth rightuousnes, is borne of hym.

³ And euery man that hath thys hope in him, pourgeth him selfe, euen as he is pure.

⁹ Whosoeuer is borne of God, sinneth not, for hys seed remaineth in him, and he can not sinne, because he is borne of God.

⁷ Beloued, let vs loue one another, for loue commeth of god. And euery one that loueth is borne of God, & knoweth God.

¹ Whosoeuer beleueth that Iesus is Christ, is borne of God. And euerye one that loueth hym whiche begat, loueth hym also whyche was begotten of hym.

⁴ For all that is borne of God, ouercommeth the world. And this is the victorye, that ouercommeth the worlde, euen oure fayeth.

¹⁸ We knowe that whosoeuer is borne of God, synneth not, but he that is begotten of God kepeth him selfe, and that wycked toucheth him not.
