⁶ And so the priestes brought the arcke of the apoyntment of the Lorde vnto hys place: euen into the quere of the temple, and place moste holy, vnder the wynges of the Cherubes.

²⁰ And the Cherubyns shal stretche theyr wynges abrode ouer an hye, & couer the mercyseate wyth theyr wynges, and theyr faces shal loke one to another: euen to the mercyseate warde, shall the faces of the cherubyns be. ²¹ And thou shalte putte the mercyseate aboue vpon the arke, and in the arke thou shalt put the witnesse which I wil geue the. ²² There I wyll mete the and will comon with the from vpon the mercyseate from betwene the two Cherbyns whiche are vpon the arke of wytnesse, of all thynge whych I wyll geue the in commaundemente vnto the chyldren of Israel.

³³ And thou shalt hange vp the vayle with rynges, & shalt brynge in within the vayle, the arke of witnes. And the vayle shal deuide the holy from the most holye. ³⁴ And thou shalt put the mercyseate vpon the arke of wytnesse in the holyest place

⁹ And the Cherubyns spredde out theyr wynges aboue an hye, & couered the mercyseate therwyth. And their faces were one to another: euen to the mercyseate warde, were the faces of the Cherubyns.

²⁰ And he toke and put the testimony in the arcke, and set the staues to the arcke, & putte the mercy seate an hye vppon the arcke, ²¹ and brought the arcke into the habitation, & hanged vp the vayle, & couered the arcke of witnes as the Lord commanded Moses.

⁴ And the people sent to Siloh, and fet from thence the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde of hostes whiche dwelleth betwene the Cherubyns. And there were the two sonnes of Eli, Hophni & Phinehes with the arcke of the apoyntment of God.

² & arose and went and al the folcke that were wyth hym of the men of Iuda, to fet awaye the arcke of GOD vpon which is called the name of the Lord of hostes that dwelleth betwene the cherubyns.

¹⁷ And when they had brought in the arcke of the Lorde, & had set it euen in hys place, euen in the tabernacle that Dauid had prepared for it: Dauid offered burntofferynges and peaceofferynges before the Lorde,

¹⁹ And the quere that was wythin the temple, he prepared to set there the arcke of the appoyntmente of the Lorde.

²⁷ And the Cherubes stretched their wynges, so that the one winge of the one touched the one wall, and the one wynge of the other touched the other walle, And the other two wynges of them touched one another in the middes of the house.

⁴ and brought it, & also the tabernacle of witnesse & all the holye vesselles that were therein. And the priestes & the Leuites brought them vp.

⁷ And the priestes broughte the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde vnto hys place in the quere of the temple & place moste holye: euen vnder the wynges of the Cherubes,

¹ To the chaunter, vpon Sosanim, a Psalme of Asaph. Heare O thou shepeherde of Israel, thou that leadest Iacob lyke a flocke of shepe: shew thy self, thou that sittest vppon the Cherubyns.

¹ The Lorde is kynge, be the people neuer so vnpaciente: he sytteth vpon the Cherubyns, be the earth neuer so vnquiete.

¹⁶ O Lorde of Hostes, thou God of Israel, which dwellest vpon Cherubyn. Thou art the God, that only is God of all the Kyngdomes of the world, for thou only hast created heauen & earth.

⁵ Yea and the sounde of the Cherubyns winges was heard into the fore court lyke as it had bene the voyce of the almyghty God, when he speaketh.
