¹⁴ every mountain and island were moved out of their places: the kings of the earth, the great men,

¹¹ they shall perish, but thou shalt remain: and they all shall come to an end like an old garment; ¹² as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall never end." ¹³ But to which of the angels did he ever say, "sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?"

¹⁰ As for that day of the Lord, it will advance like a thief: then the heavens will rush with violence, the boiling elements will be dissolved, and the earth with all its contents, shall be burnt away.

²⁰ and every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose presence the earth and the heaven fled away, so that they disappear'd.

¹ Afterwards I saw a new heaven, and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were vanished; and there was no more sea .
