¹⁰ why then do the Scribes say, that Elias must first come?

¹⁴ and if ye will believe me, he is the Elias that was to come.

³ and presently they saw Moses and Elias conversing with him. ⁴ then Peter address'd himself to Jesus, Lord, said he, it is good for us to stay here: if you please, let us make three tabernacles here; one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elias.
