³⁴ after the number of the days in which ye searched out the land forty days, and every day a year: so that they shall bear your unrighteousness forty years, and ye shall feel my vengeance.

¹ {A Psalm of Asaph} O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled, and made Jerusalem a heap of stones.

² Which are called free men of the holy city, as they that look for comfort in the God of Israel, whose name is the LORD of Hosts.

¹ Up, Zion, up: take thy strength unto thee. Put on thy honest raiment O Jerusalem, thou city of the holy one. For from this time forth, there shall no uncircumcised nor unclean person come in thee.

¹⁰ {Yod} The enemy hath put his hand to all the precious things that she had, yea even before her eyes came the Heathen in and out of the Sanctuary: whom thou, nevertheless, hast forbidden to come within thy congregation.

¹⁷ Then brought he me into the fore court, whereas were chambers and paved works, made in the fore court round about: Thirty chambers upon one paved work. ¹⁸ Now the paved work was a long beside the doors, and that was the lower paved work. ¹⁹ After this, he measured the breadth from the lower door, unto the innermore court of the outside, which had a hundred cubits upon the east and the north part. ²⁰ And the door in the uttermost court toward the north, measured he after the length and breadth:

²⁰ So he measured all the four sides where there went a wall round about five hundred measuring rods long, and as broad also which separated the holy from the unholy.

¹⁹ After this, I required diligently to know the truth concerning the fourth beast, which was so far unlike the other beasts, and so horrible: whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass: which devoured and destroyed, and stamped the residue under his feet.

²⁵ He shall subdue three kings, and shall speak words against the highest of all: he shall destroy the saints of the most highest, and think that he may change times and laws. They shall be given under his power, until a time, two times, and a half a time.

¹⁰ It grew up to the host of heaven, whereof it did cast some down to the ground, and of the stars also, and trod them under feet.

²⁴ He shall be mighty and strong, but not in his own strength. He shall destroy above measure, and all that he goeth about, shall prosper: he shall slay the strong and holy people. ²⁵ And through his craftiness, falsity shall prosper in his hand; his heart shall be proud, and many a one shall he put to death in his wealthiness. He shall stand up against the Prince of Princes, but he shall be destroyed without hand.

⁷ Then heard I the man with the linen clothes, which stood above upon the waters of the flood: when he held up his right and left hand unto heaven, and sware by him which liveth forever, that, "It shall tarry for a time, two times and half a time: when the power of the holy people is clean scattered abroad, then shall all these things be fulfilled."

¹¹ And from the time forth that the daily offering shall be put down and the abominable desolation set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ¹² O well is him, that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and thirty five days.

⁵ Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple,

¹³ "Ye are the salt of the earth: but and if the salt have lost her saltiness, what can be salted therewith? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men.

⁵³ and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and came into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

²⁴ And they shall fall on the edge of the sword. And they shall be led captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden underfoot of the gentiles, until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled.

³ Let no man deceive you by any means, for the Lord cometh not, except there come a departing first, and that that sinful man be opened, the son of perdition; ⁴ which is an adversary, and is exalted above all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he shall sit as God in the temple of God, and show himself as God. ⁵ Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things? ⁶ And now ye know what withholdeth: even that he might be uttered at his time. ⁷ For the mystery of that iniquity doth he already work, which only looketh, till he be taken out of the way ⁸ and then shall that wicked be uttered, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the appearance of his coming, ⁹ even him whose coming is by the working of Satan, with all lying power, signs, and wonders: ¹⁰ and in all deceivableness of unrighteousness, among them that perish: because they received not the love of the truth, that they might have been saved. ¹¹ And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe lies: ¹² that all they might be damned which believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

¹ The spirit speaketh evidently that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, and shall give heed unto spirits of error, ² and devilish doctrine of them which speak false through hypocrisy, and have their consciences marked with a hot iron, ³ forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with giving thanks, of them which believe, and know the truth.

¹ This understand, that in the last days shall come perilous times: ² For the men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to father and mother, unthankful, unholy, ³ unkind, trucebreakers, stubborn, false accusers, rioters, fierce, despisers of them which are good, ⁴ traitors, heady, high minded, greedy upon voluptuousness more than the lovers of God, ⁵ having a similitude of godly living, but have denied the power thereof. Such abhor. ⁶ For of this sort are they which enter into houses, and bring into bondage women laden with sin, which women are led of divers lusts,

²⁹ Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be counted worthy, which treadeth underfoot the son of God: and counteth the blood of the testament as an unholy thing, wherewith he was sanctified, and doth dishonour to the spirit of grace.

³ "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

¹¹ And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood up upon their feet: and great fear came upon them which saw them.

⁶ And the woman fled into wilderness, where she had a place, prepared of God, that they should feed her there, one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

¹ And I stood on the sea sand. And I saw a beast rise out of the sea, having seven heads, and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his head, the name of blasphemy. ² And the beast which I saw, was like a cat of the mountain, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his seat, and great authority: ³ and I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered at the beast, ⁴ and they worshipped the dragon, which gave power unto the beast, and they worshipped the beast, saying, "Who is like unto the beast? who is able to war with him?" ⁵ And there was a mouth given unto him that spake great things, and blasphemies, and power was given unto him, to continue forty two months. ⁶ And he opened his mouth unto blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. ⁷ And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given him over all kindred, tongue, and nation: ⁸ and all that dwell upon the earth worshipped him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb, which was killed from the beginning of the world. ⁹ If any man have an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ He that leadeth into captivity, shall go into captivity: he that killeth with a sword, must be killed with a sword. Here is the patience, and the faith of the saints. ¹¹ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as did the dragon. ¹² And he did all that the first beast could do in his presence, and he caused the earth, and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ And he did great wonders, so that he made fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. ¹⁴ And deceived them that dwelt on the earth, by the means of those signs which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwelt on the earth: that they should make an image unto the beast, which had the wound of a sword, and did live. ¹⁵ And he had power to give a spirit unto the image of the beast, and that the image of the beast should speak, and should cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, should be killed. ¹⁶ And he made all men, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hands, or in their foreheads. ¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, other the number of his name. ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him that hath wit count the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred, threescore and six.

² And I, John, saw that holy city, new Jerusalem, come down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride garnished for her husband.

¹⁹ And if any man shall minish of the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from those things which are written in this book.
