⁷ The memorial of the just shall have a good report; but the name of the ungodly shall stink.

³⁶ and will give his son one, that David my servant may have a light always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me, to put my name there.

³⁴ For I will defend this city and save it, for mine own sake and for David my servant's sake."

¹⁶ And they buried him in the city of David among the kings because he had done good in Israel, and on God and on his house.

¹⁷ His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and his name shall not be praised in the streets:

²³ Then clap men their hands at him, yea and jest of him, when they look upon his place.

⁵ Thou hast rebuked the heathen, and destroyed the ungodly; thou hast put out their name forever and ever. ⁶ O thou enemy, thy destructions are come to a perpetual end; even as the cities which thou hast destroyed, their memorial is perished with them.

¹³ Let his posterity be destroyed; and in the next generation let his name be clean put out.

¹⁵ Let them be always before the LORD, that he may root out the memorial of them from off the earth;

⁶ For he shall never be moved, and the righteous shall be had in an everlasting remembrance.

¹⁰ For I have oft seen the ungodly brought to their graves, and fallen down from the high and glorious place; insomuch that they were forgotten in the city where they were had in so high and great reputation. This is also a vain thing.

¹³ Thou art the comfort of Israel. All that forsake thee, shall be ashamed. And they that depart from thee shall be written in the earth. For they have lost the LORD that is the fountain of the water of life.

⁹ Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be rehearsed in remembrance of her."

⁴⁸ For he hath looked on the poor degree of his handmaiden. Behold, now from henceforth shall all generations call me blessed.
