2 Kings 5:20

20 And when he was departed from him a furlong of ground, Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, "Behold, my master hath spared Naaman, this Syrian, so that he hath not taken from him that which he brought! As surely as the LORD liveth, I will run after him and take somewhat."

8 I robbed other congregations, and took wages of them, to do you service withal. 9 And when I was present with you and had need, I was grievous to no man. For that which was lacking unto me, the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I kept myself that I should not be grievous to you: and so will I keep myself. 10 If the truth of Christ be in me, this rejoicing shall not be taken from me in the regions of Achaia. 11 Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth. 12 Nevertheless what I do, that will I do to cut away occasion from them which desire occasion, that they might be found like unto us in that wherein they rejoice:

2 Corinthians 12:11-15

11 I am made a fool in boasting myself. Ye have compelled me: I ought to have been commended of you. For in nothing was I inferior unto the chief apostles, though I be nothing: 12 Yet the tokens of an apostle were wrought among you with all patience; with signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. 13 For what is it wherein ye were inferiors unto other congregations? Except it be therein that I was not grievous unto you. Forgive me this wrong done unto you. 14 Behold now, the third time, I am ready to come unto you, and yet will I not be grievous unto you. For I seek not yours, but you. Also the children ought not to lay up for the fathers and mothers: but the fathers and mothers for the children. 15 I will very gladly bestow, and will be bestowed for your souls: though the more I love you, the less I am loved again.

Philippians 1:5
