⁴¹ And on the morrow all the multitude of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying, "Ye have killed the people of the LORD."

⁷ And thus said this Shimei as he cursed, "Come forth, come forth thou blood shedder and thou unthrifty man! ⁸ The LORD hath brought upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned, and he hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son. ¹¹ LORD, when thine hand is lift up to strike, they see it not: but they shall see it, and be confounded, when thou shalt devour them with the wrath of the people, and with the fire of thine enemies.
