²² For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was showed.

¹⁵ insomuch that they brought the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and pallets: that at the least way the shadow of Peter, when he came by, might shadow some of them. ¹⁶ There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing with them sick folks and them which were vexed with unclean spirits. And they were healed every one.

And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. ⁴¹ And he gave her the hand and lift her up, and called the saints and widows and showed her alive. ⁴² And it was known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.

¹² So that from his body were brought unto the sick, napkins or partlets, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

³ And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, And put them into the fire, there came a viper out of the heat and leapt on his hand. ⁴ When the men of the country saw the worm hang on his hand, they said among themselves, "This man must needs be a murderer: Whom, though he have escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live." ⁵ But he shook off the vermin into the fire, and felt no harm. ⁶ Howbeit, they waited when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly. But after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

⁸ And it fortuned that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever, and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in and prayed, and laid his hands on him and healed him. ⁹ When this was done, others also which had diseases in the isle, came and were healed:

²⁰ The God of peace tread Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

⁹ to another is given faith, by the same spirit; to another the gifts of healing, by the same spirit;

¹⁴ If any be diseased among you, let him call for the elders of the congregation, and let them pray over him, and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord: ¹⁵ and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
