¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall die for it: all the multitude shall stone him to death. And the stranger as well as the Israelite if he curse the name, shall die for it.'

¹⁸ Remember this, O LORD, how the enemy rebuketh, and how the foolish people blaspheme thy name.

²⁰ For they speak unrighteously against thee; and thine enemies exalt themselves presumptuously.

³¹ Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men, but the blasphemy of the spirit shall not be forgiven unto men.

⁶⁶ What think ye?" They answered and said, "He is worthy to die."

²⁸ Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto men's children: and blasphemy, wherewith they blaspheme: ²⁹ but he that blasphemeth the holy ghost shall never have forgiveness: but is in danger of eternal damnation."
