Joshua 2:10 Cross References - MSTC

10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the reed sea before you, when you came out of Egypt, and what you did unto the two kings of the Amorites on the other side Jordan; Sihon, and Og, which ye utterly destroyed.

Exodus 14:21-31

21 When now Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, the LORD carried away the sea with a strong east wind that blew all night, and made the sea dry land and the water divided itself. 22 And the children of Israel went in through the midst of the sea upon the dry ground. And the water was a wall unto them, both on their right hand and on their left hand. 23 And the Egyptians followed and went in after them to the midst of the sea, with all Pharaoh's horses, and his chariots and his horsemen. 24 And in the morning watch, the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians out of the fiery and cloudy pillar, and troubled their host; 25 and smote off their chariot wheels and cast them down to the ground. Then said the Egyptians, "Let us flee from Israel, for the LORD fighteth for them against us." 26 Then said the LORD unto Moses, "Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the water may come again upon the Egyptians; upon their chariots and horsemen." 27 Then stretched forth Moses his hand over the sea, and it came again to his course early in the morning, and the Egyptians fled against it. Thus the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea, 28 and the water returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen: so that of all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them, there remained not one. 29 But the children of Israel went upon dry land in the midst of the sea, and the water was a wall unto them: both on the right hand of them and also on the left. 30 Thus the LORD delivered Israel the selfsame day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seaside. 31 And when Israel saw that mighty hand which the LORD had showed upon the Egyptians, they feared the LORD: and believed both the LORD and also his servant Moses.

Exodus 15:14-16

14 The nations heard, and were afraid. Pangs came upon the Philistines. 15 Then the dukes of the Edomites were amazed, and trembling came upon the mightiest of the Moabites, and all the inhabiters of Canaan waxed faint-hearted. 16 Let fear and dread fall upon them through the greatness of thine arm, and let them be as still as a stone, while thy people pass through, O LORD; while the people pass through, which thou hast gotten.

Numbers 21:21-35

21 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon, king of the Amorites, saying, 22 "Let us go through thy land; We will not turn into thy fields nor into thy vineyards, neither drink of the water of the wells: but we will go along by the common way, until we be past thy country." 23 And Sihon would give Israel no license to pass through his country, but gathered all his people together and went out against Israel into the wilderness. And he came to Jahaz and fought with Israel. 24 And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword and conquered his land, from Arnon unto Jabbok: even unto the children of Ammon. For the borders of the children of Ammon are strong. 25 And Israel took all these cities and dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites: in Heshbon and in all the towns that long thereto. 26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites which Sihon had fought before with the king of the Moabites, and had taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon. 27 Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say: "Go to Heshbon and let the city of Sihon be built and made ready! 28 For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, and a flame from the city of Sihon, and hath consumed Ar of the Moabites and the men of the hills of Arnon! 29 Woe be to thee, Moab! O people of Chemosh, ye are forlorn! His sons are put to flight and his daughters brought captive unto Sihon, king of the Amorites! 30 Their light is out, from Heshbon unto Dibon! And we made a wilderness even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba!" 31 And thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites. 32 And Moses sent to search out Jazer, and they took the towns belonging thereto and conquered the Amorites that were there. 33 And then they turned and went up toward Bashan. And Og, the king of Bashan, came out against them, both he and all his people, to war at Edrei. 34 And the LORD said unto Moses, "Fear him not, for I have delivered him into thy hands with all his people and his land. And thou shalt do with him as thou didst with Sihon, the king of the Amorites which dwelt at Heshbon." 35 And they smote him and his sons and all his people, until there was nothing left him. And they conquered his land.

Numbers 23:22

22 God, that brought them out of Egypt, is as the strength of an unicorn unto them!

Deuteronomy 2:30-3:8

30 But Sihon, the king of Heshbon, would not let us pass by him; for the LORD thy God had hardened his spirit and made his heart tough because he would deliver him into thy hands as it is come to pass this day.

Joshua 4:24

24 that all the people of the world may know the hand of the LORD how mighty it is, and that ye might fear the LORD your God forever."
