²³ Ye shall not make therefore with me gods of silver nor gods of gold: in no wise shall ye do it.

And ye are the temple of the living God, as said God, "I will dwell among them, and walk among them, and will be their God: and they shall be my people." ¹⁷ Wherefore, "Come out from among them, and separate yourselves," saith the Lord, "and touch none unclean thing: so will I receive you, ¹⁸ and will be a father unto you, and ye shall be unto me sons and daughters," saith the Lord almighty.

²⁸ Wherefore if we receive a kingdom which is not moved, we have grace, whereby we may serve God and please him with reverence and godly fear. ²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire.
