Romans 8:28-39

28 For we know well that all things work for the best unto them that love God, which also are called of purpose. 29 For those which he knew before, he also ordained before, that they should be like fashioned unto the shape of his son, that he might be the first begotten son among many brethren. 30 Moreover, which he appointed before, them he also called; and which he called, them also he justified; which he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say unto these things? if God be on our side: who can be against us? 32 Which spared not his own son, but gave him for us all: How shall he not with him give us all things also? 33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's chosen? It is God that justifieth: 34 who then shall condemn? It is Christ which is dead; Yea rather which is risen again, which is also on the righthand of God and maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of God? Shall tribulation? Or anguish? Or persecution, other hunger? Other nakedness? Other peril? Other sword? 36 As it is written, "For thy sake are we killed all day long, and are counted as sheep appointed to be slain." 37 Nevertheless, in all these things we overcome strongly through his help that loved us. 38 Yea and I am sure that neither death, neither life, neither angels; nor rule, neither power, neither things present, neither things to come, 39 neither height, neither lowth, neither any other creature shall be able to depart us from the love of God, showed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 3:14-17

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ, and that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. 15 Brethren, I will speak after the manner of men. Though it be but a man's testament, yet no man despiseth it, or addeth anything thereto when it is once allowed. 16 To Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, "in the seeds," as in many: But, "in thy seed," as in one, which is Christ. 17 This I say, that the law which began afterward, beyond four hundred and thirty years, doth not disannul the testament, that was confirmed afore of God unto Christ ward, to make the promise of none effect.

Hebrews 4:1

1 Let us fear, therefore, lest any of us forsaking the promise of entering into his rest, should seem to come behind.

Hebrews 6:13-18

13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he had no greater thing to swear by, he sware by himself, 14 saying, "Surely I will bless thee, and multiply thee indeed." 15 And so after that he had tarried a long time, he enjoyed the promises. 16 Men verily swear by him that is greater than themselves; And an oath to confirm the thing, is among them an end of all strife. 17 So God, willing very abundantly to show, unto the heirs of promise, the stableness of his counsel; he added an oath, 18 that by two immutable things — in which it was impossible that God should lie — we might have perfect consolation, which have fled, for to hold fast the hope that is set before us:
