¹² So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

⁸ Furthermore brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things pertain to love, whatsoever things are of honest report, if there be any virtuous thing, if there be any laudable thing, those same have ye in your mind,

¹⁷ And all things, whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father by him.

²⁵ but whoso looketh in the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein — if he be not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work — the same shall be happy in his deed.

⁸ If ye fulfil the royal law — according to the scripture which saith, "Thou shalt love thine neighbour as thyself" — ye do well.

⁴ by the means whereof are given unto us excellent and most great promises; that by the help of them ye should be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye flee the corruption of worldly lust. ⁵ And hereunto, give all diligence: In your faith, minister virtue; and in virtue, knowledge; ⁶ and in knowledge, temperance; and in temperance, patience; in patience, godliness; ⁷ in godliness, brotherly kindness; in brotherly kindness, love. ⁸ For if these things be among you, and are plenteous, they will make you that ye neither shall be idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of the our Lord Jesus Christ.
