² "Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the vestures and the anointing oil, and an ox for a sin offering and two rams and a basket of sweet bread:

¹⁵ And then he brought the people's offering and took the goat that was the people's sin offering, and slew it and offered it for a sin offering: as he did the first.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are determined over thy people, and over the holy city: that the wickedness may be consumed, that the sin may have an end, that the offense may be reconciled, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, to fulfill the visions and the Prophets, and to anoint the most holy one.

⁹ for lo, the stone that I have laid before Joshua: upon one stone shall be seven eyes. Behold, I will hew him out, sayeth the LORD of Hosts, and take away the sin of that land in one day.

²⁹ but he that blasphemeth the holy ghost shall never have forgiveness: but is in danger of eternal damnation."

²⁸ Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, whereof the holy ghost hath made you overseers: to rule the congregation of God, which he hath purchased with his blood.

¹³ But Christ hath delivered us from the curse of the law, and was made accursed for us — for it is written, "Cursed is everyone that hangeth on tree" — ¹⁴ that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ, and that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith.

⁷ By whom we have redemption through his blood, that is to say, even the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,

²⁷ Which needeth not daily — as yonder high priests — to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's sins. For that did he at once for all, when he offered up himself:

⁷ But into the second went the high priest alone, once every year: and not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the ignorance of the people.

¹³ For if the blood of oxen, and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer, when it was sprinkled, purified the unclean, as touching the purifying of the flesh:

¹⁵ And for this cause is he the mediator of the new testament, that through death which chanced for the redemption of those transgressions that were in the first testament, they which were called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

²⁴ For Christ is not entered into the holy places, that are made with hands, which are but similitudes of true things: but is entered into very heaven, for to appear now in the sight of God for us. ²⁵ Not to offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with strange blood: ²⁶ for then must he have often suffered since the world began: But now in the end of the world, hath he appeared once, to put sin to flight, by the offering up of himself.

²⁸ even so Christ was once offered to take away the sins of many, and unto them that look for him, shall he appear again, without sin, unto their salvation.

⁴ For it is impossible that the blood of oxen, and of goats should take away sins.

⁹ And then he said, "Lo I am come to do thy will o God." He taketh away the first to establish the latter. ¹⁰ By the which will we are sanctified, by the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And every priest is ready daily ministering, and often times offereth one manner of offering, which can never take away sins: ¹² but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, sat him down for ever on the righthand of God, ¹³ and from henceforth tarrieth till his foes be made his footstool. ¹⁴ For with one offering hath he made perfect forever them that are sanctified.

¹⁹ Seeing, brethren, that by the means of the blood of Jesus, we may be bold to enter into that holy place,

¹⁸ Forasmuch as ye know how that ye were not redeemed with corruptible gold and silver from your vain conversation, which ye received by the traditions of the fathers, ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb undefiled, and without spot,

⁵ and from Jesus Christ which is a faithful witness, and first begotten of the dead: and Lord over the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

⁹ and they sung a new song saying, "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast killed, and hast redeemed us by thy blood, out of all kindreds, and tongues, and people, and nations,
