⁴ "Nevertheless, thus sayeth the LORD unto the house of Israel, 'Seek after me, and ye shall live;

¹ When all these words are come upon thee, whether it be the blessing or the curse which I have set before thee; yet if thou turn unto thine heart among all the nations whither the LORD thy God hath thrust thee, ² and come again unto the LORD thy God and hearken unto his voice according to all that I command thee this day — both thou and thy children with all thine heart and all thy soul - ³ then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity and have compassion upon thee and go and fetch thee again from all the nations, among which the LORD thy God shall have scattered thee. ⁴ Though thou wast cast unto the extreme parts of heaven: even from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee and from thence fetch thee; ⁵ and bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt enjoy it. And he will show thee kindness and multiply thee above thy fathers. ⁶ And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart and the heart of thy seed for to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart and all thy soul, that thou mayest live. ⁷ And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies and on them that hate thee and persecute thee. ⁸ "But thou shalt turn and hearken unto the voice of the LORD and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

⁹ And thou, Solomon my son: know God thy father and serve him with a pure heart and lust of soul. For the LORD searcheth all hearts and understandeth all the imaginations of thoughts. If thou shalt seek him, he will be found of thee: But and if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever.

² And he went out against Asa and said to him, "Hear me Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: The LORD is with you, while ye be with him, and if ye shall seek him, he will be found of you: but and if ye shall forsake him, he will forsake you.

³ And Jehoshaphat feared and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed fasting throughout all Judah.

³ Insomuch that the eighth year of his reign, when he was yet a lad, he began to seek after the God of David his father. And in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of hill altars, groves, carved Images, and Images of metal:

² The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that would understand and seek after God.

³ Incline your ears, and come unto me, take heed, and your soul shall live. For I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

⁶ Seek the LORD, while he may be found, and call upon him while he is nigh. ⁷ Let the ungodly man forsake his ways and the unrighteous his imaginations, and turn again unto the LORD: so shall he be merciful unto him; and to our God, for he is ready to forgive.

¹² Ye shall cry unto me, ye shall go and call upon me, and I shall hear you. ¹³ Ye shall seek me, and find me: Yea, if so be that ye seek me with your whole heart,

²⁵ {Tet} O how good is the LORD unto them that put their trust in him, and to the soul that seeketh after him? ²⁶ O how good is it, with stillness, to wait and tarry for the health of the LORD?

⁶ Seek the LORD, that ye may live: lest the house of Joseph be burnt with fire and consumed, and lest there be none to quench Bethel.

³ Yea, or the day of the LORD's sore displeasure come upon you. Seek the LORD, all ye meek hearted upon earth, ye that work after his judgment: seek righteousness, seek lowliness, that ye may be defended in the wrathful day of the LORD.

⁸ For whosoever asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
