⁸⁶ All Your commandments are faithful; I am persecuted without cause—help me!

¹ A Shiggaion of David, which he sang to the LORD concerning the words of Cush, a Benjamite. O LORD my God, I take refuge in You; save me and deliver me from all my pursuers, ² or they will shred my soul like a lion and tear me to pieces with no one to rescue me. ³ O LORD my God, if I have done this, if injustice is on my hands, ⁴ if I have rewarded my ally with evil, if I have plundered my foe without cause, ⁵ then may my enemy pursue me and overtake me; may he trample me to the ground and leave my honor in the dust. Selah

⁹ The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true, being altogether righteous.

⁷ For without cause they laid their net for me; without reason they dug a pit for my soul.

¹⁹ Let not my enemies gloat over me without cause, nor those who hate me without reason wink in malice.

¹⁹ Many are my enemies without cause, and many hate me without reason.

³ See how they lie in wait for me. Fierce men conspire against me for no transgression or sin of my own, O LORD. ⁴ For no fault of my own, they move swiftly to attack me. Arise to help me, and take notice.

⁵ But I am poor and needy; hurry to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

²⁶ Help me, O LORD my God; save me according to Your loving devotion.

⁷⁸ May the arrogant be put to shame for subverting me with a lie; I will meditate on Your precepts.

¹²⁸ Therefore I admire all Your precepts and hate every false way.

¹³⁸ The testimonies You have laid down are righteous and altogether faithful.

¹⁴² Your righteousness is everlasting and Your law is true.

¹⁵¹ You are near, O LORD, and all Your commandments are true.

⁴ Look to my right and see; no one attends to me. There is no refuge for me; no one cares for my soul. ⁵ I cry to You, O LORD: “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” ⁶ Listen to my cry, for I am brought quite low. Rescue me from my pursuers, for they are too strong for me.

⁹ Deliver me from my enemies, O LORD; I flee to You for refuge.

²⁰ Should good be repaid with evil? Yet they have dug a pit for me. Remember how I stood before You to speak good on their behalf, to turn Your wrath from them.

¹² So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.
