⁷ So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and infected Job with terrible boils from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.

⁹ It will become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and festering boils will break out on man and beast throughout the land.” ¹⁰ So they took soot from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. ³⁰ My skin grows black and peels, and my bones burn with fever.

⁶ From the sole of your foot to the top of your head, there is no soundness—only wounds and welts and festering sores neither cleansed nor bandaged nor soothed with oil.

¹⁷ the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will make their foreheads bare.”

¹¹ and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores; yet they did not repent of their deeds.
