¹⁵ Confident of this, I planned to visit you first, so that you might receive a double blessing.

¹¹ For I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you,

²⁹ I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

¹⁹ But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only what these arrogant people are saying, but what power they have.

³⁴ If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that when you come together it will not result in judgment. And when I come, I will give instructions about the remaining matters.

¹ As God’s fellow workers, then, we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.

²⁵ Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, ²⁶ so that through my coming to you again your exultation in Christ Jesus will resound on account of me.
