²² at which the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced. She charmed Herod and his guests. "Ask me whatever you want," said the king to the young girl, "and I will give it to you."

³⁶ "What is it you want me to do for you?" said he. ³⁷ They answered, "Allow us to sit, one at your right hand, and the other at your left hand, in your glory."

⁵¹ "What do you want me to do?" said Jesus, addressing him. And the blind man answered, "O Rabboni, that I might receive my sight!"

¹⁹ So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

²⁰ The Pharisees asked him when the kingdom of God was coming. He answered. "The kingdom of God does not come so that you can catch sight of it, ²¹ "nor will they say, 'Look here it is!' or 'See there!'—for the kingdom of God is now in your midst."

⁴¹ "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord," he answered, "that I might see again."

¹¹ As they were listening to his words he added this parable, because he was near Jerusalem and they thought that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.

²⁴ And there arose also a dispute among them as to which of them could be considered the greatest,

⁷ "If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever your will is, and it shall be yours.

⁶ So, when they came together, they began to ask him, "Master, are you at this time about to restore the kingdom of Israel?"

³⁴ Who is there to condemn them? Will Christ who died? Yes, and who rose from the dead, The Christ who is also at the right hand of God, And is interceding for us?
