²⁹ Indeed, brothers, the time that remains to us has been shortened; so let those who have wives live as if they had none,

²⁰ But now, now, Christ is risen from the dead, the first-fruit of those who have fallen asleep.

¹⁰ He who ever supplies seed to the sower, and bread for the food of man, will supply and make plentous your seed, and increase the harvest springing up from your almsgiving.

¹⁷ I mean to say that the testament which God has already ratified could not be annulled by the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later, so as to make the Promise void.

¹⁶ This is my meaning. Let your steps be guided by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

⁷ Be not deceived. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. ⁸ The man who is sowing to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption; but he who is sowing to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap life eternal. ⁹ And let us not be weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

¹⁷ This then I tell you and implore you in the Master's name, to pass your lives no longer as the Gentiles do in the perverseness of their minds;

⁴ And this I say, lest any one should mislead you with enticing words.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you showed for his cause, in sending help to your fellow Christians, as you are still doing.
