⁹ And they had breastplates, like iron breastplates, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses running to war.

²⁵ As often as the trumpet sounds he says, Aha! And he smells the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains and the shouting.

¹⁸ His bones are as tubes of brass. His limbs are like bars of iron.

²³ The flakes of his flesh are joined together. They are firm upon him. They are hardly shaken.
²⁴ His heart is as firm as a stone, Yes, firm as the nether millstone.
²⁵ When he raises himself up the mighty are afraid. Because of consternation they are beside themselves. ²⁶ If a man lays at him with the sword it cannot avail, nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft. ²⁷ He counts iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. ²⁸ The arrow cannot make him flee. Sling-stones are turned into stubble with him. ²⁹ Clubs are counted as stubble. He laughs at the rushing of the javelin.
³⁰ His underparts are like sharp earthen vessels. He spreads out as a threshing-wagon upon the mud.

⁵ For all the armor of the armed man in the tumult and the garments rolled in blood, will be for burning, for fuel of fire.

⁵ They leap like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. ⁶ At their presence the peoples are in anguish; all faces have grown pale.
⁷ They run like mighty men. They climb the wall like men of war and they march each one on his ways. And they do not break their ranks. ⁸ Neither does one push another. They march each one in his path and they burst through the weapons and do not break off.

⁴ The chariots rage in the streets; they rush to and fro in the broad ways. The appearance of them is like torches. They run like the lightnings. ⁵ He remembers his nobles. They stumble in their traveling. They make haste to the wall of it and the mantelet is prepared.

¹⁷ And so I saw the horses in the vision and those who sits upon them, having fiery breastplates of hyacinth and of brimstone and the heads of the horses like the heads of lions; and fire and smoke and brimstone is traveling out of their mouths.
