⁴ You have held my eyelids watching. I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

¹ On that night the king could not sleep. And he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles and they were read before the king.

³ For now it would be heavier than the sand of the seas. Therefore my words have been rash.

¹³ When I say, My bed will comfort me. My couch will ease my complaint. ¹⁴ Then you scare me with dreams and terrify me through visions, ¹⁵ so that my soul chooses strangling and death rather than these my bones.

⁶ I am weary with my groaning. Every night I make my bed to swim. I water my couch with my tears.
