Genesis 11:7-9

7 Come, let Us go down there and confound their language, that they may not understand each other's speech.
8 So Jehovah scattered them abroad from there upon the face of all the earth and they left off building the city. 9 Therefore the name of it was called Babel, because Jehovah confounded the language of all the earth there and Jehovah scattered them abroad upon the face of all the earth from there.

2 Samuel 15:31

31 And it was told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Jehovah, I beseech you, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

2 Samuel 17:1-14

1 Moreover Ahithophel said to Absalom, Let me now choose out twelve thousand men and I will arise and pursue after David this night. 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak-handed and will make him afraid. And all the people who are with him will flee. And I will only kill* the king, 3 and I will bring back all the people to you. The man whom you seek is as if all returned, so all the people will be in peace. 4 And the saying pleased Absalom well and all the elders of Israel.
5 Then Absalom said, Call now Hushai the Archite also and let us hear likewise what he says. 6 And when Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom spoke to him, saying, Ahithophel has spoken after this manner. Shall we do after his saying? If not, speak.
7 And Hushai said to Absalom, The counsel that Ahithophel has given this time is not good. 8 Hushai said moreover, You know your father and his men, that they are mighty men and they are chafed in their minds, as a bear robbed of her cubs in the field. And your father is a man of war and will not lodge with the people.
9 Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some other place. And it will happen, when some of them are fallen at the first, that whoever hears it will say, There is a slaughter among the people who follow Absalom. 10 And even he who is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, will utterly melt, for all Israel knows that your father is a mighty man and those who are with him are valiant men. 11 But I counsel that all Israel be gathered together to you, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, as the sand that is by the sea for multitude and that you go to battle in your own person. 12 So we will come upon him in some place where he will be found and we will light upon him as the dew falls on the ground and of him and of all the men who are with him we will not leave so much as one.
13 Moreover, if he is gathered into a city, then all Israel will bring ropes to that city and we will draw it into the river until there is not one small stone found there.
14 And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For Jehovah had commanded to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that Jehovah might bring evil upon Absalom.

Matthew 23:37-38

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How-often I willed to have gathered together your children in the manner a bird gathers together her brood under her wings, and you did not will it! 38 Behold, your house is left to you desolate;

John 7:45-53

45 Therefore, the attendants came to the high-priests and Pharisees, and those men said to them, Why did you not lead him here?
46 The attendants answered, Never, has a man spoken thus, like this man.
47 Therefore the Pharisees answered them, You have not also been misled, have you? 48 Not anyone from the rulers or from the Pharisees believed in him, have they? 49 But this crowd who does not know the law are cursed.
50 Nicodemus says to them (he who came to him by night, being one out of them), 51 Our law is not judging a man, if it does not hear from him beforehand and may know what he is doing, does it?

Acts 23:6-10

6 But when Paul knew that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of a Pharisee. I am being judged concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead. 7 But when he said this, there became a dissension from the Pharisees and the multitude was split-apart. 8 (For the Sadducees indeed say that there is no resurrection, neither messenger nor spirit, but the Pharisees are confessing both.)
9 Now there became a great outcry, and part of the scribes of the Pharisees stood up and were quarreling, saying, We are finding no evil in this man, but if a spirit has spoken to him, or a messenger, we should not quarrel against God. 10 Now when much dissension happened, the commander, being scared, lest Paul might be torn to shreds by them, commanded the army to go down and seize him from the midst of them, and lead him back into the encampment.
