³ He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

³⁰ to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.

⁸ Lead me, O Jehovah, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before my face.

⁷ The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making a simple man wise.

³ Because you are my rock and my fortress. Therefore for your name's sake lead me and guide me.

³ O magnify Jehovah with me and let us exalt his name together.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.

¹² Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. And deliver us and forgive our sins, for your name's sake.

⁴ Turn us, O God of our salvation and cause your indignation toward us to cease. ⁵ Will you be angry with us everlasting? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? ⁶ Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
⁷ Show us your loving kindness, O Jehovah and grant us your salvation.

¹³ Righteousness will go before him and will make his footsteps a path.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, because I do not forget your commandments.

⁸ Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, because I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, because I lift up my soul to you.
⁹ Deliver me, O Jehovah, from my enemies. I flee to you to hide me.
¹⁰ Teach me to do your will, because you are my God. Your Spirit is good, lead me in the land of uprightness.

¹¹ I have taught you in the way of wisdom. I have led you in paths of uprightness.

²⁰ I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice,

¹⁶ And I will bring the blind by a way that they do not know. I will lead them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness light before them and crooked places straight. These things I will do and I will not forsake them.

⁸ Behold, I will bring them from the north country and gather them from the outermost parts of the earth and with them the blind man and the lame man, the woman with child and she who travails with child together. They will return here a great company.

³⁷ Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries where I have driven them in my anger and in my wrath and in great indignation. And I will bring them again to this place and I will cause them to dwell safely. ³⁸ And they will be my people and I will be their God. ³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them and of their sons after them.
⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. And I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me. ⁴¹ Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good. And I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
⁴² For Jehovah says thus: Just as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

¹⁴ But I worked for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

⁴ I will heal their backsliding. I will love them freely. For my anger is turned away from him. ⁵ I will be as the dew to Israel. He will blossom as the lily and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. ⁶ His offshoots will spread and his beauty will be as the olive tree and his smell as Lebanon.
⁷ Those who dwell under his shadow will return. They will revive as the grain and blossom as the vine. The scent of it will be as the wine of Lebanon. ⁸ Ephraim will say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered and will regard him. I am like a green fir tree. From me, your fruit is found.
⁹ Who is wise, that he may understand these things, prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Jehovah are right and the just will walk in them. But transgressors will fall in them.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, O my enemy. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be a light to me.
⁹ I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my case and executes judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light and I will behold his righteousness.

¹⁸ Who is a God like to you, who pardons iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
¹⁹ He will again have compassion upon us. He will tread our iniquities under foot and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

³¹ Now the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, the Adversary asked for you, to sift you like wheat. ³² But I besought concerning you, in order that your faith may not fail, and someday having turned back again, establish your brethren.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his favor, in which he has favored us in the beloved,

¹⁹ As many as I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.
