7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will make mention of the name of Jehovah our God.

1 Samuel 13:5

5 And the Philistines assembled themselves together to fight with Israel: thirty thousand chariots and six thousand horsemen and people as the sand which is on the sea-shore in multitude. And they came up and encamped in Michmash, eastward of Beth-aven.

2 Samuel 8:4

11 And Asa cried to Jehovah his God and said, Jehovah, there is none besides you to help, between the mighty and he who has no strength. Help us, O Jehovah our God. For we rely on you and in your name we come against this multitude. O Jehovah, you are our God. Do not let man prevail against you.

2 Chronicles 20:12-20

12 O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that comes against us. Neither do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.
13 And all Judah stood before Jehovah, with their little ones, their wives and their sons.
14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite, of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of Jehovah in the midst of the assembly.

For the battle is not yours*, but God's. 16 Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they come up by the Ascent of Ziz. And you* will find them at the end of the valley, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
17 You* will not need to fight in this battle. Set yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of Jehovah with you*, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear, nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for Jehovah is with you*.
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground. And all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before Jehovah, worshiping Jehovah. 19 And the Levites, of the sons of the Kohathites and of the sons of the Korahites, stood up to praise Jehovah, the God of Israel, with an exceedingly loud voice.
20 And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa. And as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah and you* inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in Jehovah your* God, so you* will be established. Believe his prophets, so you* will prosper.

2 Chronicles 32:8

8 With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is Jehovah our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Psalms 33:16-17

16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. 17 A horse is a vain thing for safety, nor does he deliver any by his great power.

Psalms 45:17

17 I will make your name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore the peoples will give you thanks everlasting and forever.

31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle, but victory is from Jehovah.

Isaiah 30:16

16 but you* said, No, for we will flee upon horses. Therefore you* will flee. And you * said, We will ride upon the swift. Therefore those who pursue you* will be swift.

Isaiah 31:1

1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek Jehovah!

Jeremiah 17:5

5 Jehovah says thus: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm and whose heart departs from Jehovah.
