¹² And in your loving kindness cut off my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my soul, because I am your servant.

¹² Jehovah judge between me and you and Jehovah avenge me of you, but my hand will not be upon you. ¹³ As says the proverb of the ancients, Out of the wicked comes forth wickedness, but my hand will not be upon you. ¹⁴ After whom is the King of Israel come out? After whom do you pursue? After a dead dog, after a flea. ¹⁵ Jehovah therefore be judge and give sentence between me and you and see and plead my cause and deliver me out of your hand.

²⁹ And though men have risen up to pursue you and to seek your soul, yet the soul of my lord will be bound in the bundle of life with Jehovah your God. And the souls of your enemies, them he will sling out as from the hollow of a sling.

¹⁰ And David said, As Jehovah lives, Jehovah will kill* him, or his day will come to die, or he will go down into battle and perish.

⁵ God will likewise destroy you forever. He will take you up and pluck you out of your tent and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.

⁵ He will reward the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.

²³ But you, O God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.

¹⁶ O Jehovah, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your handmaid. You have loosed my bonds.

⁹⁴ I am yours. Save me, because I have sought your precepts.

¹⁵ but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, because his loving kindness is everlasting,

¹⁸ and killed famous kings, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorites, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
