¹⁹ And out of Jacob will come he who will have dominion and will destroy the remnant from the city.

¹⁰ The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and to him will the obedience of the peoples be.

¹ Why do the nations rage and the peoples meditate vain things? ² The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, against Jehovah and against his anointed, saying, ³ Let us break their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.
⁴ He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will mock them. ⁵ Then he will speak to them in his wrath and distress them in his great displeasure.
⁶ Yet I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. ⁷ I will tell of the decree. Jehovah said to me, You are my Son, this day I have fathered you. ⁸ Ask of me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the outermost parts of the earth as your possession. ⁹ You will smash them with a rod of iron, you will dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
¹⁰ Now therefore be wise, O you* kings. Be instructed, you* judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest he is angry and you* perish in the way, because his wrath will soon be kindled. All those who take refuge in him are fortunate.

⁷ Because the king trusts in Jehovah. And through the loving kindness of the Most High he will not be shaken.
⁸ Your hand will find out all your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you. ⁹ You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath and the fire will devour them. ¹⁰ You will destroy their fruit from the earth and their seed from among the sons of men.

¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will render tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba will offer gifts. ¹¹ Yes, all kings will fall down before him. All nations will serve him.

¹⁰ And there will be a root of Jesse in that day and he who arises to rule over the Gentiles. In him will the Gentiles hope and his resting place will be glorious.

² But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, which are little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of you he will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from long-ago, from the days of everlasting.

⁴ And he will stand and will feed his flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah his God and they will abide. For now he will be great to the ends of the earth.

⁴⁶ And these will be going away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.

¹⁸ And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and upon earth.

¹² Therefore he said: A certain noble man, traveled into a far away region, to receive a kingdom for himself and to return.

²⁷ However my enemies, those men who did not wish that I should reign over them, lead them here and slaughter them before me.

²⁵ For it is essential for him to reign, till whenever, he should place all his enemies under his feet.

²⁰ which he worked in the Christ, having raised him up from the dead and seated him by his right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ up above all rule and authority and power and lordship and every name that is being named, not only in this age, but also in the future age. \ulnone\nosupersub ²² And he subjected all things under his feet and gave him to be head above all things to the congregation of believers,

¹⁰ in order that every knee should bow in the name of Jesus, those from the heavenly and earthly and subterranean places, ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

⁸ But he says toward the Son, ‘Your throne, O God, is forevermore; the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

²² who is at the right hand of God, having traveled into heaven; with messengers and authorities and powers having been made subject to him.

¹⁶ And he has upon his garment and upon his thigh a name has been written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
