Exodus 32:11-14

11 And Moses besought Jehovah his God and said, Jehovah, why does your wrath grow hot against your people, whom you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, He brought them forth for evil, to kill them on the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath and relent of this evil against your people.
13 Remember Abraham, Isaac and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self and said to them, I will multiply your* seed as the stars of heaven. And all this land that I have spoken of I will give to your* seed and they will inherit it everlasting.
14 And Jehovah relented of the evil which he said he would do to his people.

Deuteronomy 9:26-28

26 And I prayed to Jehovah and said, O lord Jehovah, destroy not your people and your inheritance, that you have redeemed through your greatness, that you have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
27 Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
