²⁴ Pilate seeing he profited nothing, but rather that an uproar is happening, took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man; you will see to it.

⁶ And all the elders of that city, who are nearest to the slain man, will wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley, ⁷ and they will answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it. ⁸ Forgive, O Jehovah, your people Israel whom you have redeemed and allow no innocent blood to remain in the midst of your people Israel. And the blood will be forgiven them.

³⁰ If I wash myself with snow water and make my hands ever so clean, ³¹ yet you will plunge me in the ditch and my own clothes will abhor me.

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will encompass your altar, O Jehovah,

²⁷ who say to a block of wood, You are my father and to a stone, You have brought me forth. For they have turned their back to me and not their face.
But in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise and save us.

³⁵ Yet you said, I am innocent. Surely his anger is turned away from me. Behold, I will enter into judgment with you because you say, I have not sinned.

⁴ saying, I have sinned, giving up innocent blood.
But they said, What is that to us? You will see to it.

⁹ Then what was spoken through the prophet was fulfilled, saying, ‘And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the one who has been priced, whom some of the sons of Israel priced for themselves;

¹⁹ Now while sitting upon the judicial-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have nothing between you and that righteous man; for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of him.

⁵⁴ Now the centurion and those guarding Jesus with him, having seen the earthquake and the things which happened, were extremely afraid, saying, This one truly was the Son of God.

⁴ Therefore Pilate went outside again and says to them, Behold, I lead him outside to you, in order that you may know that I am finding no crime in him.

¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

²¹ For the one who knew no sin, he was made the sin offering on our behalf; in order that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
